As an intern, I had to assist the Sales and Payable Accountants in their day to day activities. I had to use the QuickBooks Software to enter daily sales and cash report from all the branches and also to handle the log sheet. Furthermore, I had to keep a track on the payment due date to suppliers and make cheques accordingly.
My role was to prepare spreadsheets relating to client quotations. Handling receivables and change in inventory list.
Our job was mainly to manage the ''Sport Courts'' inside the arena. (Ex: Football Pitch, Basketball Court, Table Tennis, etc.) Also we were put up in the Call Center to handle Phone bookings & Payments and customer service. Thus, there was a job rotation for all employees.
The task carried out was to approach the budgeted retailers and assist them in increasing their sales and profits by providing a better offer to participate in Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF'16).
The main aim of the job was to contact the manager of hotels and be in touch with them for an upcoming event. The exhibition included the participation of different hotels in Dubai and our job was to be in contact with them if they require any materials to set up their respective stands.
Bachelor's Degree in BA Accountancy & Finance from Heriot Watt University.
