- Anticipate corrosion mechanisms activation through validation and recommendation of new Monitoring Process Variables and alarms according to API 584 Integrity Operation Windows.
- Inspection resources priorization through Corrosion Loops revision and piping classification according to current plant damage mechanisms, inspection results and API 570 parameters.
- Prepare Cathodic Protection plan and field inspections for tank bottoms maintenance by API 651.
- Protection against atmospheric and internal corrosion by selection and inspection of Painting Systems using SSPC / Nace standards: surface preparation, ambient conditions and quality tests.
- Risk Based Inspection reassessment for piping and pressure vessels by API 580/581. Current and Future Risk calculation for assets in Distillation, Coking, Hydrotreatment, Sulphur and Offsites.
- Determine key parameters for risk variation through Sensitivity Analysis. Validation of data teaming with Operations, Process, Safety and Reliability departments: temperature and pressure variations, acids and salts concentration, pH, inspection and construction records.
- Risk Mitigation with inspection activities. Identify critical assets, location, required tests, extension and frequency according to damage mechanisms and inspection effectiveness on 50 fixed assets including: heat exchangers, air coolers and vessels under wet H2S, naphthenic acids, creep, cooling water, biological, amine, chlorides and ammonium bisulfide corrosion.
- Failure Analysis of metallic components through visual inspection and operational parameters. -
- Determination of internal or external corrosion, fatigue, overheating or mechanical failure mode.
- Chemical Cleanings recommendations in water and hydrocarbon services to improve performance of exchangers and columns depending on construction materials and contaminants.
- Determine Fitness for Service on assets with loss of thickness, cracking and fire damage by API 579 Level 1 assessments.

- Ensure mechanical integrity of fixed equipment: vessels, piping and storage tanks generating and monitoring Inspection Plans complying with standards API 510 / 570 / 653 / PDVSA to register, trace results and establish preventive or corrective actions.
- Non Destructive Testing evaluation: VT, MT, PT, UT, AUT under ASME section V parameters for tests execution and under ASME section VIII for approval in repairs and new equipments.
- Generation and tracing of Preventive and Corrective maintenance Recommendations for Onstream equipment and Inspection Scopes for Turnaround by API 510 / 570 / ASME PCC2.
- Generation of inspection plans for Sulfidation and wet H2S SCC damage mechanisms for 20 piping systems and vessels on crude and coke plants.

- Evaluation of owner and contractor Welding Procedures Specifications / Welder Performance Qualifications / Procedure Qualification Record to comply with ASME section IX.
- Evaluation of welding and fabrication of pressure vessels and piping in owner and third party workshops through non-destructive testing VT, MT, PT, UT and design standards ASME B31.3 and ASME section VIII.
- Implement Mothballing Plans depending on storage time and location to preserve unused assets.
- Inspection of components and equipments at Warehouse to ensure they comply with manufacturing standards ASME B31.3; ASME VIII; ASME B16.5 and original drawings.
- Data Management optimization, Owner Inspection Procedures and Forms and updates. Application of Root Cause Analysis on plant events with multidisciplinary team generating recommendations to avoid recurrence.

- Furnace refractory and tubes evaluation with thermal profiles using Infrared Thermography. Scan internal and external hot spots and temperature distribution. Evaluate tank level, damage conditions in vessels and piping by differences on temperature or emission.
- Evaluation of Mechanical Integrity for onstream / shutdown equipment and materials through non-destructive testing PT, VT, UT to detect indications or defects.
- Generation of vessels, piping and PSV Inspection Scopes for plant turnaround.
- UT Thickness Monitoring. Audit results and Meridium software database update.
- Fixed equipment remaining life calculations by API 510 / 570 / 574.
- Optimize condition monitoring locations according to piping class and corrosion history.
