Responsible for biomass cogeneration plant and steam boiler supervising in the sugar mill, planning and following execution of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment. Program tests of relays, generators, transformers, switchgears and 34500 Volts transmission lines and their attached equipments, in order to reduce not desired downtime during production period. Covering the position of shift electrical maintenance supervisor during repaiment period (after sugar cane harvesting 6 months period).
Besides planning and supervising projects related to generation area improvement just like new equipment mounting, test programming, legal requirements compliment following, etc.
Assuring of safety procedures compliment, following of guidelines required by certifications acquired by AZUNOSA (ISO9001, FSSC22000, BONSUCRO, World Class Manufacturing). Member of the emergency brigade. In charge of risk analysis prior maintenance activities, assurance of hazardous work permits following.

Control Room Operator at Energy International

Shift chief, in charge of three 7.23 MW HFO powered generation units operation of ZIP ELCATEX power plant. Responsible for synchronization of the power plant with the national interconnected grid. Verification of the following generators parameters: voltage, current, power, power factor and frequency. Monitoring of the following operation parameters of HFO engines: cylinders temperature, oil pressure, fuel temperature and fuel pressure, steam boilers temperature and pressure, exhaust gases temperature, turbo speeds, generators temperature, etc.
Controlling generation units load delivery according to the customer requirments and the national interconnected grid; also responsible to follow the necessary actions to set the plant in operation with a fast response; in case of a black out.
Take readings of all the variables regarding to the energy delivery in an hourly basis; besides control of the right operation of the three, 50 ton rated, absorption chillers feeded by the returning engines cooling water.
Checking of the correct operation of the three exhaust gas boilers, according to the manufacturer requirements.
