• Inspection of weld edge preparation as per approved drawing which includes PT, fit up & preheating if required as per WPS.
• Review of WPS & PQR, checking all welding activities is in compliance with the applicable code, standards and specification.
• Review of mill certificates, consumable test certificates and calibration certificates of equipment.
• Randomly checking welding parameters according to approved WPS (Ampere, Voltage, Travel Speed and Gas flow rate). Checking the adequacy of equipment for preheating, welding, heat treatments and weld examinations.
• Ensuring that weld inspection, examination and test are carried out and documented in accordance with the Quality Control Plan for site activities, verifying the inspection records and validating the relevant results.
• Check for dimensional inspection of complete job after welding & visual inspection. Monitor welding ovens holding and backing ovens calibrations records.
• Witnessing of necessary NDT procedure as per UT, PT & MPT. Review of weld radiographs as per applicable specifications.
• Planning material & manpower for project, preparing Daily Production Report & reporting to higher Authority. Maintain and review of welder qualification in processes, monitor progress and reject percentage weekly.
• Resolves NCRs, maintains record of consumables, review of baking, issue, return and re-issue records.
• Interacting with the client during operation & processing of the job to avoid nonconformity, delivery of the job on time & thereby achieving the customer satisfaction.
• Hands-on experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of chiller plants of capacities 8X 370 tonnages, direct expansion systems of various types, VAV/ VRF controls, chilled water supply centrifugal pumps, AHUs, FCUs, trouble shoot and performed root cause failure analysis.
• Reported directly to Facilities Manager and assisted him to prepare project reports, performed specialist quality and safety techniques on critical structures and processes.
• Reviewed of all materials received on the site, inspected them, ensured they are as per approval.
• Developed and managed preventive maintenance programs, including new Preventive maintenance procedures, work reviews and approval.
• Provided technical support to facilities and other site departments as needed for troubleshooting, repair, and process optimization.
• Maintained strong channels of communication with managers consultants and clients, ensured smooth progress of HVAC processes and systems.
• Maintained and updated location fire safety facilities as required, preparation and Completion of Job orders.
• Established emergency response procedures and acted as first point of contact for fire & safety officers and other officials.
• Scheduling the tasks of General HVAC Technicians, making sure the tools and parts are available to perform the assigned tasks, prepared time sheets, handled customer complaints and responded to the complaints immediately.
• Followed all quality control procedure, inspection, and test plan.
• Checked all parameters that required to perform welding such as Welder Qualification, Welding Consumables, WPS etc.,
• Monitored welding consumables, storage, and usage as per project specification.

• Co-ordinated all destructive and Non-destructive testing at various sites for different types of welds. Provided required WPS notation and the weld edge preparation for each NDT Drawing.
