LSD is a small Boutique Studio lead by two talented European Designers. As a Senior Designer, I work hand in hand
in collaboration with both my superiors in creating Design Proposals. I am also given several opportunities to design
projects from planning to design and visualization.
Part of my duty as the Senior Architect is the preparation of schedule and planning of all the projects from
distribution of works to staff and making sure that all works are on schedule for submission. I personally designed
and implemented the CAD Standards of the company for more efficient work flow. All Works (Proposal Presentation
& Tender Drawings) of LSD pass through my careful and mindful checking before final quick check by the Partners.
I conduct weekly meetings with the staff for progress report of all the projects.
As the Office Manager, I am responsible in making sure that the company work flow runs smoothly. My duties
include implementation of company policies and I train all staff on implementation of proper documentation for
Architects and Administration. I also resolve minute problems within the office up to my capacity to maintain good
harmony and workflow for all staff and company operations.
Part of my duty is also the selection of candidates for hiring, conducting initial interviews and selection for hiring as
well. I also conduct orientation and training for new staff from Architects, to EAs and Messenger-Driver. Most of my
Office Manager duties are done with the assistance of the company EA.
DCE -Al Hamad is one of the biggest Contracting Company in UAE, Jordan and Bahrain composed of different
departments handling Design, MEP and Structural as well as supply of building materials.
I am a Senior Project Architect for the Design Department. My responsibility covers proposal of new concepts
(planning and design), coordination of existing projects with the different departments and consultants, and
preparation and checking of drawings for submissions and approvals from various entities (DM for example).
I achieve all these with the help of my team of Junior Architects and Draftsmen. As a designer, I also did a few 3D
Visualizations for a few of our projects.
