Based in Jordan, and with the onset of COVID19, I have been working as a consultant researcher and content development specialist on several projects, mainly related to international development, people with disabilities, population, gender, health, refugees, violence, poverty, migration, youth, culture, education among others.

As part of a global partnership between IDRC and UNFPA, I have worked on the assessment and advancement of civil registration records in Jordan; while building a culture of vital statistics in the context of sustainable human development; through intensive cooperation with national partners in Jordan. The project involved three main components: field research activities and national consultations for assessment and identification of challenges and recommendations; capacity building through technical trainings on statistical tools and on evidence-based decision making and communication for development; and outreach through developing various communication and research products including infographics, interactive content on civil registration and vital statistics.
