Seconded to TAKREER to work as a project manager and project focal point. Responsibilities includes:
• Lead, manage and coordinate the detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up activities performed by the EPC Contractor (M/s Tyco Fire & Security LLC) working in a US$ 45 million project.
• Manages day-to-day interaction with EPC Site Management to build collaboration and effective project implementation.
• Implemented TAKREER Health, Safety & Environment requirements (i.e, HAZOP, HAZID, Task Risk Analysis, safe method statements and work permit systems)
• Awarded with HSE Employee of month & leading the 2011 HSE Best Contractor
• Project leadership for the engineering of USD 125 million; 48, 000 m3/day Industrial Waste Treatment Plant Project (IWTP-2)
• Supervised in-house multi-discipline engineering team composed of 14 engineers & designers.
• Overall responsible for raising all material requisitions, technical evaluation and reviewing purchase orders both long lead and non-long lead materials.
• Ensured that safety, quality, efficiency and economic aspects were considered in all engineering designs to the satisfaction for both client and company.
• Successfully managed capital, de-bottlenecking and management of change (MOC) projects worth more than $40 million from feasibility to project close-out phases.
• Oversaw activities of fifteen (15) in-house engineers and external detailed engineering consultants involved in the projects.
• Maintained an excellent safety record while completing heavy construction projects.
• Successfully integrated new systems/facilities to existing operating plants.
• Led, supervised & coordinated inter-discipline engineering activities for assigned Qatar Petroleum (QP) Projects.
• Managed ten (10) designers/engineers involved in various projects.
• Analyzed changes to engineering scope and assessed the impact on cost and schedule.

• Directly managed twelve (12) project managers assigned in various industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.

Served as Technical Manager, in-charge of the in-house engineering team composed of six (6) multi discipline design engineers & draftsmen and closely worked with external engineering consultants for design works that cannot be handled by the in-house engineering team.
• Responsible for successful engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up of new plant modifications/Management of Change (MOC)
• Supervised seven (7) multi-discipline engineers and draftsmen in preparation of project development proposals, cost estimates and engineering deliverables.
• Assigned as project manager in critical revamp and capital projects.
• Mechanical lead position involving preparations of detailed engineering deliverables for tank farm interconnection piping carried-out by the in-house piping design team.
• Supervision of engineering design and construction of 1.45 MMBBL (125m Ø x 19m) crude oil storage (API-650) tank by the specialty contractor (M/s CBI)
• Technical coordination with piping stress analysis group and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensures that all design and construction works were performed by tank & piping contractors according to the established procedures, codes and Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards.
• Prepared detailed engineering deliverables for process piping and static/rotating equipments (e.g, general arrangement, piping isometric, material take-off, piping class specifications, pipe supports, equipment data sheets, material requisitions, etc.)
