Responsible for advising the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. I work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on different legal matters, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
As an intern, my responsibilities included but were not limited to studying the case files, make the points on it and participating on drafting legal consultations for International clients. I also participated to basic office work such as copying and filing, legal research, client assistance and aiding lawyers with paperwork and courtroom. A large part of my legal internship was conducting research using the internet, legal database, legal libraries. As a Legal intern, I often participated on writing various agreements, contracts and leases.
Traineeship at the Court of first instance, Kenitra / Morocco:
Observation and participation in legal proceedings.
The study and analysis of different legal cases.
Drafting of certain legal documents.
The master’s degree in Business Law is awarded by the University of Mohammed V Souissi, it’s a nonprofit Moroccan public institution of higher education and scientific research. The University is fully recognised by the Moroccan government. The Master program in Business law allowed me to learn more about the laws that are used in transactions between people and commercial matters and gain a highly prestigious Master’s of Laws qualification. It was an opportunity to take diverse modules in advanced business law subjects and learn in an internationally orientated environment with access to a network of like-minded professionals.
