Provides support to colleagues, heads of department and management surrounding human resource issues. Responsible in assisting the Director of Human Resources with operational requirements, colleague activities, recruitment, on boarding, orientation, data management and report preparation. In charge of the pre-employment and on boarding process of colleagues which includes, reviewing profiles, interviewing candidates, coordination with recruitment agencies, ensure completion of pre-employment requirements (i.e., medical test), request and issuance of visas and tickets. Has been instrumental for the recruitment of 300+colleagues in a span of 4 months during the hotel pre-opening phase. Communicates arrival instructions to onboarding colleagues. Review and propose changes on the internal policies based on the corporate policy and Qatar Labor law as required and appropriate. In charge of the Colleague Welfare Committee (compose of representatives from all departments) who organizes activities and concerns of colleagues related to social, sports, food and accommodation.
