Perform the Quality Testing activities and verify Incoming material and the finished product to meet the Quality Assurance Standards.
Conduct frequent Tests on the physical and visual properties of the paperboard folding cartons being produced at various stages of the production process. Testing includes rub for inks, colour hue and density, coefficient of friction and kinetics friction tests for slip, score bend for retail folding cartons (Boxing Force and Creasability Springback), gloss readings on substrates, Tensile Test including RCT (Ring Crushed Test), ECT (Edge Crushed Test) and BCT (Box Compression Test)
Complete the Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation and send it to the customers.
Maintain Test Result records.
Update the documentation as and when required.
Maintain the material tracking within the plant.
Maintain Calibration/Verification of the testing equipment._
Communicate any Quality issues to the Quality Manager and other responsible Management personnel.
Monitor Quality testing activities on the production lines._
Perform AUDITS and other miscellaneous testing as and when required by the General Manager.
Conduct Inspection (Incoming, In-process and Outgoing) and prepare reports relative to the implementation, monitoring and evaluations of the quality requirements.
Inspect lots using specifications / standards prior to test.
Performs system transaction and moving out lots at Incoming QA & Final Outgoing QA.
Records and update necessary quality data.
Verifies, validates conformity of accepted lots to specifications and customer requirements.
Issues Non - Conformance report or equivalent for any non-compliance to procedures and specifications.
Prepares regular Quality reports to immediate superior.
Conduct in-line audit.
Archiving and monitoring of Quality records for data retention.
Provides support to other department on monitoring of product evaluation.
Performs other duties that can assign from time to time.
Receiving plastic parts or CKD parts from client (FORD/MAZDA and HONDA) for painting.
Posting all the parts received to the stock cards
Dispatching of the parts to the production line, using corresponding documents. (Monitoring Check sheet and Material Issuance)
Responsible for the replacement of part detected defective and damaged during the un-boxing and parts which are returned due to the damaged of line.
Reporting of parts for Replacement using KDQR, UBR and PRS
Doing rejection rate report, every end of month for every model and variant.
