After 2 years at the Hygiene Institute / University of Graz and completing my residency to become GP (additioanl 3 yrs.) I joined the Hospital in Linz where I´m still working.
In addition to my job at the hospital lab I´m also in charge of hospital hygiene and representative in various Austrian boards.
In addition I´m member of the ISTM, the APTHS (where I also have the honour of being international advisor).

This diploma first was called "Tropical medicine", only. Later is was renamed as shown.
1985-1987 and 1991-1994 6 yrs. of education in hygiene and microbiology, later on courses in tropical medicine and travel medicine
