I assist in coordinating and executing daily logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods, vessels, and transport resources. My responsibilities included liaising with vessel captains and chefs to coordinate supplies, fuel, food, flaked ice, and operational requirements before departures. I coordinate the repair and replacement of defective vessel equipment, arrange transport and delivery of fish upon vessel arrivals, and monitor truck movements to ensure timely deliveries. I maintained communication with suppliers, transporters, drivers, and vessel crews to resolve operational delays and support uninterrupted logistics operations. Additionally, I monitor stock levels, maintain accurate logistics records and reports, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, source cost-effective supplier quotations, and provide real-time operational updates to stakeholders to support efficient supply chain performance.

My duties included preparing project progress presentations for senior management, coordinating meetings, recording minutes, managing schedules and travel arrangements, and providing administrative support to the project execution team. I monitored project timelines, tracked expenses and financial queries, identified project risks and opportunities, and assisted in implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve project profitability. I liaised with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives were met, sourced project materials and resources within budget, and acted as a key point of contact throughout project execution. I worked closely with the Senior Project Manager, gaining hands-on experience in project planning, risk analysis, team coordination, and overall project management best practices.

In my role at Vestrel, I was responsible for coordinating and managing local and international logistics operations to ensure efficient and compliant movement of shipments. My duties included tracking global shipments, monitoring vessel and flight ETAs, preparing and coordinating import/export documentation, and ensuring compliance with shipping and record-keeping regulations. I liaised with customers, freight forwarders, transporters, clearing agents, and service providers to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely delivery of cargo. I also assisted with HS coding, obtained freight quotations, coordinated packaging and crating requirements, managed purchase order and payment requests, and ensured that shipments complied with safety and hazardous goods regulations. Additionally, I monitored vendor performance, provided shipment updates, and supported management with administrative and ad hoc logistics tasks.

My duties included tracking trucks through MixTelematics systems, monitoring driver activity, managing incidents and accidents, handling hijacking and vehicle theft reports, and ensuring quick resolution of breakdowns and operational issues. I conducted incident and root cause investigations, maintained operational records and reports, monitored transport compliance, and enforced company procedures and safety standards. I also managed administrative tasks, compiled operational data and reports, and ensured confidentiality of all transport and operational information while supporting overall logistics and fleet performance.
