Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Shared Service model encompassing all corporate functions (Admin & Facilities, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Legal, Procurement) at G42 Corporate entity.
Formulate impactful shared service pricing strategies to enhance financial performance and mitigate operational risks.
Drive & maximize the Shared Service revenue and cost recovery for 1764 G42 legal entity.
Direct strategic planning, budget oversight, and execution of Shared Services, ensuring alignment with G42’s objectives.
Provide guidance and ensure adherence to the operating budget, leading the division effectively within budget constraints and reporting progress accurately.
Oversee Shared Services Division budgeting & forecasting cycles and lead the budgeting process for all functions in scope.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by adapting to international standards and evolving business practices.
Key Achievements:
Directed the development and implementation of G42’s Shared Services model, division policies, pricing model, systems, processes, procedures, governance, and controls in 2023 so that all relevant procedural / regulatory requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results.
Drove and supported the implementation of new MS Dynamics ERP for the Shared Services Module in 2023.
• Led the vision and strategy of Advanced Finance Services (AFS) globally (200+ roles in Hungary, India, and Albania) and govern the Shared Service operational delivery of AFS service portfolio to support Vodafone Group, Vodafone's local market Telco Operating Companies (OpCos) and Partner markets (100+ Vodafone entities across regions).
• Led and oversaw all processes under Controlling & Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Statutory Accounting, Record to Report (R2R), Contract Accounting, Transfer Pricing, Roaming & Interconnection O2C & P2P in the AFS service portfolio.
• Ultimately responsible for the veracity and accuracy of all records of financial transactions, reconciliations & settlements.
• Supervised the smooth functioning and errorless workflows producing timely monthly, quarterly, year-end financial closings in compliance with IFRS and Vodafone policies. Reported in a monthly basis Vodafone entities' financial position to external and internal stakeholders and management of Vodafone Group and OpCos.
• Primary responsibility for OPEX (EUR 6M) & CAPEX (EUR 2M) budgets, drove downward trends in costs of service delivery.
• Led and fostered continuous process improvement with focus on digital automation across finance & accounting processes.
• Directly led a management team of 6 finance managers/senior managers in the division. Provided performance management and evaluation to all heads of sub-department. Created operational talent management and succession framework.
Key Achievements:
• Drove digitalization and process improvements - as a result, reached 15% in FY21 and 14% in FY22 in OPEX reduction.
• Drove business development & divisional growth - as a result, added 30%+ new roles in FY21 and 20%+ in FY22 to AFS.
• Implemented SAP 4/HANA module and OneSource financial statement preparation tool in FY21 & FY22.
delivery of key accounting programs (SAP implementation) across Nissan Europe, namely accounting schemes & processes harmonization.
• Implemented standard processes for Record to Report Accounting and Invoicing Management across Nissan Europe.
• Designed the process and controls needed, developed Reporting metrics (KPIs) and relevant tools in FP&A, R2R, P2P.
• Directed and promoted the application of accounting controlling systems and other measures to ensure data veracity.
• Coordinated the collaboration with IT, centralized needs, and enabled Information Systems enhancements.
• Developed process variants, automated solutions (RPAs), workarounds with external providers and Transition Team.
• Led a team of 3 senior finance professionals in Hungary and supervised the finance division (120+ roles) based in India.
• Managed the overall OPEX & CAPEX budgets for Nissan Europe's Shared Services (Nearshore & Ofshore).
Key Achievements:
• Managed the overall transition of finance/accounting activities from all Nissan Europe entities (HQ, RBUs, Manufacturing Plants) to SSC locations - As a result 70+ new roles were moved from local markets to shared services in 2018/19.
• Implemented SAP R/3 module for key accounting processes involved in shared services as part of Nissan Europe's system enhancement initiative.
