Conduct Annual, Pre-employment, Pre-travel, contract renewal and other medical
checks according to schedules and documented procedures for all employees.
Scan reports into personal medical files and notify employees of results,
making recommendations as to subsequent action if required and competence to do.
Conduct, or assist Medical Officers to conduct, daily clinics for company employees
And eligible dependents, undertaking routine nursing duties and performing basic physiological measurements as required.
Dispensing prescribed medications.
Manage the Dispensary, updating stock records daily and monitoring expiry dates.
Attend to medical emergencies when required. Provide basic immediate life
support treatment and administer more advance life support as directed by a
physician. Arrange the transfer of patients requiring hospitalization or other
clinical attention.
Maintain individual patient records, ensuring that all information is kept at the
highest level of confidentiality.
Dispose of all medical waste using the proper standard operating procedures.
Provide health input into the design and content of promotional materials when
required.
Ensure all instruments are kept sterilized.
Calibrate medical equipment as per schedule.
Conduct a daily stock take of medical supplies and order replacement stock as
required.
Prepare and give health talks when required to company employees and
contractors on general health subjects.
Develop and conduct training in First Aid and other health subjects for company employees and contractors when required.
Maintain a personal development program to keep medical knowledge current.
Task and Duty
Responsible to perform screening on patient such as checking on any vital mark, check the blood pressure, instruct the patient to do the lab test such as RBS, UFEME and UPT.
Perform the ECG examination base on doctor instruction.
Prepare the patient for the TIBI injection.
Inject the IM/IV as per doctor instruction.
Record and ensure all the equipment is clean and complete before send to Autoclave
Help the medical officers and medical assistant to conduct the examination and procedure such as I&D and take the baby blood sample.
Report to the doctors if the patient shows allergies or bruise.
Responsible to place monthly or annual order of medical or non-medical apparatus for daily use.
Give the health education to the patient and his relative.
Ensure all the medical equipments are well organized.
Update the patient log book
Update the record book on number of patients in the ward.
Replace catheters for female patients when required.
Dispose used linen in the treatment room.
Reports immediately to doctors/medical officers if patients require immediate attention or on emergency cases.
Ensures all domestic and clinical schedule waste are disposed according to schedule and regulation.
Update the patients database for Kuala Terengganu and Dungun General Hospital especially on referral medical cases from regular clinics.
Observe patients on the effect of medicine given. Report to medical officers on any abnormalities.
Prepare and keep the monthly patients record.
Examine and ensure all subordinates attendance and duties are fulfilled.

Schedule timetable for routine visit with administration of all nearby school.
Responsible on duties and activities of subordinate.
Promoting ”Patient Centred Care” concept for all health activities in the school.
Did an investigation on epidermical cases in school especially cases that could be prevented by immunization.
Responsible to perform immunization anti-tetanus Toxoide and Iodinated salt.
Referred all complex or rare cases to the Chief Medical Nurse or Medical officer on duty.
Take blood sample for VDRL, Blood grouping and pre-test for HIV.
On-call duty for Obstetric emergency and perform installation of Infuse Intravena and provides medicine such as Magnesium Sulphate and Injection Dexamethasone.
Provide primary immunization and booster for kids suffering from low food nutrients according to schedule.
Do physical observation, assessment of the growth and progression of child-patients.
Access and register child-patients according to type of medical attention required.
Did general physical inspection for breast and pap smear according to the needs, and provide advice to the patients on Breast Self Examination.
Estimates and orders medicine, vaccine and medical apparatus for the use of the clinic.
Analyses records and service performance. Take initiative to improve the quality of job delivery.
Participate on health research conducted by WHO and the Ministry of Health of Malaysia.
Provide councelling and motivation to patients and actively involved in promotion activity on health to the public community.
Handle Expended Scope Programmed on development activities for the handicapped.
Review daily report (activities and data accuracy) and notify Nurse Supervisor for any urgent matter require.
Ensure administration ward perform accordingly.
Prepare and update monthly nurse report for submission to the State Medical Office within the schedule.
Responsible to issue stock fill up according to the material for medical and non medical items.
Responsible to arrange patients and classify according to the cases.
Responsible to response and perform pre-medication treatment during emergency while waiting for medical officer attention.
Observe the physical condition of patients for any abnormal symptoms
Provide basic medical treatment, oral medicine, and injection (vaccination) in accordance to schedule and direction from medical officers. Provide home medication to patient suffering from Stroke and Palliatives.
Treat epidemical cases in accordance to the guideline provided.
Responsible to perform external wounded, take specimens and communicate with lab for testing and analysis result.
Responsible to observe and monitor during intravenous infusion solution or blood transfusion.
Assist medical officers during special surgical procedure.
Ensures patients registration are logged and updated in the Patients Medical Logbook.
ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVES
To maintain medical treatment operation on day-to-day basis accordingly and ensure minimum interruption on the operation.
To assist Medical Officers and Doctors on daily routine work.
Ensure all patients under custodian are in excellent treatment.
. To ensure the medical treatment activities are carried out smoothly, efficiently and safely.
2. To monitor day to day medical activities and review hospital and clinic performance efficiently, subsequently advice treatment to achieve optimum treatment extraction with the aim of meeting the various customer’s nominations to reduce medical cost.
3. To identify area for modifications and assist feasibility study on the proposed modification on medical equipment operations to improved the hospital performance for better service to the patients.
4. To monitor and update the patient status to doctor on overall planning activities on day to day medical treatments to ensure all the patients gets the good medical treatments.
