Working as key support for the legal department by assisting the Chief Legal Counsel and legal team on various legal works including but not limited to the following:
-Reviewing and drafting legal documents such as power of attorneys, board resolutions, letters, documents including certain agreements (service contracts, non-disclosure agreements, maintenance contracts etc.).
-Following up with external lawyers on ongoing corporate litigation matters including court hearings and accordingly updating internal team and other functional departments of the company.
-Reviewing case statements including memorandum and related documents in Arabic prior to submission to courts by local lawyers.
-Translating legal documents from English to Arabic and vice-versa and proof-reading all translations.
-Conducting legal research on different legal topics including regulations and initiating enquiries with relevant authorities on various legal/corporate matters.
-Maintaining proper filing systems, preparing summaries and reports of legal works, agreements and litigation matters for internal records and references.
-Organizing and coordinating meetings and conference calls and confirming appointments with parties
-Providing legal assistance and support to management on litigation matters.
-Reviewing legal documents pertaining to litigation and gathering all required information and supporting documents from client for registration of cases.
-Completing all paper works for submission to courts and registering cases via online portal system of Dubai Courts.
-Drafting documents such as power of attorneys, notices and letters.
-Assisting legal advisors in preparing legal agreements and contracts.
-Conducting legal research and coordinating with different government authorities for conducting enquiries on legal matters and updates.
-Providing timely updates to clients on the status of litigation and court hearings.
-Preparing and maintaining physical and electronic filing systems
-Attending hearings of court cases.
-Drafting legal documents pertaining to motor accident claims.
-Meeting clients to address various legal issues including employment and cheque related matters and advising on the suitable course of action.
-Collecting all related information and documents from clients for registration of cases and submissions to courts.
-Assisting clients in matters relating to company incorporations
-Attending court hearings on behalf of the senior lawyer.
-Providing administrative and legal support to senior lawyers.
-Following up with clients for collecting required documents for registration of cases.
-Drafting legal documents in relation to family matters especially divorce cases for submissions before Shari'a Courts and the Church
