Working on a set of projects and initiatives related to Digital Transformation of Business for the Semi-Government Sector at Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role involves:
• Manage a team of business and technical skills;
• Manage and validate stakeholders’ requirements;
• Ensure proper alignment of business requirements with the strategic objectives of the organization;
• Develop solutions, resource allocations and budgets;
• Manage successful delivery of projects (Documentation, development & deployment, testing and handing over;
• Manage client relationship; coordination and reporting.

Explore opportunities in the renewable energy field and create revenue streams through partnerships and initiatives.
Throughout 2019 and 2020, I managed two mid-sized solar energy projects from inception to commissioning, operation and maintenance.
In collaboration with MORES, EPS and its sister company South For Construction (SFC) hit the waste management sector by developing a professional team of experts and specialists, and partnering with international waste management operators in order to respond to market needs and socio-economic demands
The role involves the development of the Waste management division using the state of the art technologies, and the design of Waste-to-Energy solutions (RDF), in response to RFP and ITB issued by the Lebanese Government represented by the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) and other local and international organizations (UN subsidiaries). It also involves pursuing international suppliers and operators specialized in the renewable energy, and developing MOUs and EPC contract agreements.
Throughout this process, SFC has succeeded to provide Eco-Friendly solutions to the municipal solid waste problem in Lebanon, mainly the Waste-to Energy Solution, and has managed to respond to many RFP raised by different local authorities.
• Identify opportunities and develop the global investment plan;
• Develop and lead the implementation of operating policies, systems, and processes, especially for the design and planning activities so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled;
• Overview and manage the master plan of the power supply to the newly developed areas;
• Lead and direct the development and maintenance of a Project Management (PMO) governance framework to provide a holistic view of all activities;
• Develop and monitor the KPI scorecards, maintain high quality of services by continuous improvement;
• Control CAPEX and OPEX and Manage the P&L statements;
• Define and develop SLAs and MOUs with the respective stakeholders; establish and agree project baselines, manage changes and resolve issues;
• Manage the review and approval process of load schemes, network designs, proposed locations of distribution substations, and the design of utility corridors;
• Oversee and manage the delivery of the network development and reinforcement projects;
• Manage contract, subcontracts, and client relationship.
Managing eight electrical divisions across Bekaa, of about 300 staff of multi-skilled personnel, and leveraging the operational performance by monitoring and controlling the implementation of the construction, customer services and maintenance activities using state of the art technology such as CMMS (SAP) and GIS.
Main Functions:
• Direct, plan, organize and control a work force of specialized technical and skilled personnel;
• Develop and monitor implementation of preventive maintenance Plans and Programs;
• Optimize the corrective maintenance activities;
• Manage the forecasting, organizing, executing, controlling and progress reporting of all projects’ work orders requests in a timely and safe manner;
• Manage and track the overall Performance based on a predefined baseline;
• Manage and ensure process workflow enhancement to maintain acceptable KPIs records;
• Ensure that operational risks are managed effectively;
• Communicate effectively and regularly with the client;
• Ensure high standards service to satisfy client’s and customers’ expectations;
Manage and Optimize the Utility operations by developing plans and programs, managing projects, governing policies and procedures, maintaining standards, and assets management systems (GIS and CMMS).
Main Functions:
• Set yearly business plans, manage Asset management related projects, manage resources, identify opportunities and threats, report about team development, performance, risks and possible solutions;
• Manage and report Scorecards and KPIs;
• Manage the stakeholders’ strategic goal of meeting PAS 55 requirements by ensuring that the principles of whole life cycle planning, risk management, cost/benefit, customer focus and sustainability are actually delivered within the day-to-day activities of network operations and maintenance;
• Assist in the development of the five-year plan of the Power and Water Distribution Networks;
• Develop a general design guideline document for the mega development projects;
• Govern the development of the Power and Water Assets Standards, Specifications and Information Systems;
• Manage the Catalogue of infrastructure data assets and drawings;
• Liaise with main developers, consultants and contractors for matters related to Notice of Intents, No objection Certificates, projects' information delivery schedule, shutdown notices, etc;
• Manage the approval process of the utility lots and the NOC from the local government;
• Develop assets tagging philosophy, assets registration forms and procedures;
• Maintain operational manuals, performance management system, and ensuring alignment of actions with the company objectives and goals;
• Perform Cash flow analysis and prepare statement of projects;
• Ensure all relevant processes have the required supporting interface agreements prepared and in place;
• Re-engineer and automate the business processes through continuous improvement programs;
• Develop a set of data regulations and specifications as a baseline for any external data submission;
• Implement new techniques and procedures that improve assets maintenance and operations processes using CMMS (Maximo);
• Ensure that asset and performance data is cost effectively collected and managed;
• Manage the network survey and the GIS power and water networks data conversion activities;
• Perform periodical QA/QC on assets databases and perform assets statistical and performance reports;
• Manage periodic training sessions and On-the-Job Assistance for end-users;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly executive reports;
• Conduct Needs Survey, Assessment and Requirements Analysis, identify gaps and possible improvement requirements;
• Actively involved in the reengineering of the Business Processes;
• Design and develop Electrical Distribution Logical and Physical Data Model;
• Lead a team of site survey, data capturing, attributes compilation, conversion and QA/QC;
• Draw out the power network system applications functional design;
• Supervise and manage On-Job Training for End-Users and main Key-Players;
• Set standards, system assessment and users performance reports;
• Make sure that system is delivered to the client as per the required formats;
• Build professional relationships with Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority and its affiliated companies;
• Data auditing and analysis. Perform feasibility studies using advanced technologies;
• Develop a multi-scenario trade-off analysis between the proposed engineering design solutions;
• Follow up and report about proper execution and implementation of different project phases;
• Participate in project management activities; control project competent demands (quality, time and cost);
• Design Electro-mechanical load demands, panel boards, internal wirings drawings and earthing systems;
• Supervise a group of technicians to ensure proper implementation of the projects;
• Conduct periodic technical meetings with consultants and clients to check progress and resolve technical issues. Review specifications and technical submissions of equipment and devices.
