• Lead a team of 8 HSE officers, 3 quality assistants, a lab technician and material controllers.
• Report to the project manager as well as the company QHSE Management representative.
• Based on site activities i.e. daily exposure to site works.
• Liaises with the client/consultant on the issues related to QHSE and resolve conflicts involved.
• Prepare project specific quality and HSE plans.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and follow up the resulted corrective/ preventive actions and also facilitate external (2nd & 3rd party) audits.
• Organize and provide in-house training programs.
• Monitor and control the daily work inspection requests.
• Liaises with client/ consultant for release/ inspection of supplied piping, electrical and instrumentation materials such as pipes, fittings, valves, cathodic protection and electrical Bulks (Kiosks, Cables, RTUs, DBs etc…)
• Issue, correct and close nonconformance reports as per applicable standards/ requirements.
• Perform work risk assessments and update when required.
• Carry out regular site audits and inspections and provide advice on improvements if any.
• Conduct incident investigation and advice on corrective/ preventive actions.
• Plan and organize different HSE events such as awareness programs, campaigns and incentive programs.
• Prepare testing procedures/ ITPs for inclusion in work method statements;
• Perform factory inspections and report to the management.
• Very conversant with Abu Dhabi EHS management system.
• Very conversant with different authorities’ PTW/ NOC systems such as Transco, Dolphin, Gasco, AADC etc…
• Conversant with international standards e.g. BS, ASTM, ISO etc…
Plant engineer in reinforcement steel Cut & Bend factory with average capacity of 300 ton/day.
Responsibilities:
• Have an over control on a production team of 200 employees split to two shifts
• Plan, schedule and control production activities to meet manufacturing goals and plant performance targets.

• Ensure that all Quality/safety procedures are implemented in line with ISO 9002 standard and legal requirements.
• Ensure that products are manufactured as per customers’ requirements.
• Prepare and update weekly and daily production plans.
• Supervise production processes and manpower for better productivity and efficiency.
• Plan the loading and offloading activities at the factory and customers yards
• Carry out plant inspections and ensure compliance with agreed work programs and specifications
• Liaises with customers (construction projects) on their production priorities.
• Liaises with customers in quality related issues.
