- Spearhead merchant partnerships for CSD business. This includes identifying relevant partners, negotiating the deal and executing the contract.
- Manage partnerships for cards in terms of bringing updated offers, evaluating campaign statistics and negotiating contract and other processes involved. To date, have succesfulllt signed up a portfolio of 300+ merchants across various spend categories.
- End-to-end management of 3rd party vendor onboarded for expanding merchant sign-ups for card business and placement of marketing collaterals at merchant locations.
- Identify events during calendar year in UAE and obtain relevant offers for card customers. Accordingly aimed towards generating incremental spend.
- Ensure timely launch of offers to maximize spends opportunity and spend activation of card customers.
- Coordinate customer communication including EDM, SMS, Website update and Facebook content.
- Identify co-brand opportunity with relevant partners, negotiate the deal and execute the contract.
- ensure timely collection of subventions payments from relevant merhchants offering 0% EPP.

- Approach potential SE’s for signing
- Approach potential SE’s for Selects (Amex Marketing Programme)
- Plan and prepare a daily/weekly schedule to visit all SE’s on assigned areas
- Process all documentation related to signing up of SE’s including
- ensure contract is signed by authorized personnel and required attachment included
- complete merchant verification form
- obtain Non-American Express data capture form
- Obtain direct credit form
- Ensure POS access is open as well as SE is set-up in the system
- Ensure SE receives copy of contract with a welcome letter
- Maintain file for copies of all relevant documents
- Ensure SE staff is educated on Card acceptance procedures and fraud prevention during set-up and servicing calls.
- Ensure prompt delivery of imprinters and plates where applicable with sufficient stock of ROCs/SOCs
- Ensure prompt delivery of SE payments wherever required.
- Conduct regular SE visits to meet needs and requirements of our merchants
- Approach the SE for Marketing Support and Recommend to the concern Department.
- Distribution of Take One applications
- Maintain the highest standard of quality service to SES
- Maintain hold out data base
- Liaising with the Fraud & Merchant Training Manager - Visit SEs with fraud incidents to take proper action and educate to prevent fraud taking place.
- Timely efforts to collect outstanding debit balance on SE’s
- Prepare monthly signing and DBV reports
- In case of cancellation, ensure request is faxed to close POS access and receive confirmation
- Ensure up to date hierarchy and key accounts clean up as well as LO relationships
