Job Responsibilities :
Follow all acts of Occupational Safety and Health within the site.
• Commissioning of the new fire truck upon arrival from vendor & Inspect new fire fighting equipment prior installing in plant.
• Perform daily, weekly & monthly checks on fire truck & RIV (Rapid Intervention vehicle) to ensure continuous preparedness of emergency equipment.
• Conducting emergency drills according to plant ERP (Emergency Response Plan) and conducting training for the company’s stuff to facilitate the implementation of the procedures (how to use Breathing Apparatus)
• Providing basic fire fighting training to all company staff.
• Performing periodic checks on all emergency response equipments (deluge system, FM 200, Fixed chemical powder systems)
• Inspect & maintain all fire fighting equipments (Fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, fire monitors, hose reels………)
• Conducts atmosphere tests and records results for Permit to Work requirements prior to and during work activities on the plant, especially in confined space and naked flame jobs
• Cbhecks work areas to ensure all requirements are met and that the safe work practice are followed
