develop and monitor performance a quality and safety management system for the corporate R&D Laboratories (around 120)
Duties are related to: a) Operation Management, b) Human Resource Training, c) Production Supervision of the Organic and Inorganic Divisions, d) organic and inorganic Methods and SOPs Development, e) Data Quality Check and Review, f) Client relational management . The Lab is ISO 17025 Accredited and the analytical methods implemented follow the EPA, ASTM and MOOPAN International Standard. The Staff included 23 Analysts and 8 managers under my direct supervision and responsibility.
The operation included the management of 55 employee for carrying out the analysis of different chemical parameter related to the UNCC claim of Kuwait for the 1991 gulf war. The Chemical Parameters cover organic and inorganic analysis with particular attention to GC-MS and GC-FID techniques for the determination of PAH, TPH profile and biomarkers, and GC-ECD techniques for the quantitation of nitroaromatics and Pest/PCB’s compounds in groundwater, seawater, soil/sediments and Fish Tissue . The lab was recently accredited ISO 17025.
lab supervisor in the Battelle-PME (presidency of meterology and environment laboratory in Saudi Arabia (Dammam) for the development of the UNCC project related to the evaluation of the environmental damage due to the 1991 Gulf war. During the period I trained the staff, and coordinated, supervised and managed all the activities of the lab, reviewed all the SOP’s and prepared the SOP for the trace metal analysis of soil and fish tissue sample.
