Badia Farm is a new farming technology with hydroponic system. The indoor farm produces gourmet Microgreens and vegetables.
My role in the company is to build and develop the sales strategy in Horeca and Retail sector.
Classic Fine Foods is a premium food distribution company operating across all of Asia, Middle East and Europe. It was owned by private equity group EQT but has now been acquired by Metro AG.
As an Area Sales Expert my main responsibilities are:
- In charge of supplying luxury food and beverages products mainly to Hotels and Restaurants in Abu Dhabi.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers (Chefs and Purchasers) in person and via phones/emails.
- Establishing new or potential business with new customers.
- Promoting new products through training, tasting and organizing meeting with the suppliers from all around the world.
- Providing specialist knowledge of our product range.
- Evaluating and Analysing clients needs.
- Making an accurate cost calculation and provide quotation for my clients.
- Reviewing my Sales performance in order to meet and exceed all targets set.
o Supervising a team of 60 employees (cleaners, waiters and porters)
o Managing orders with suppliers on daily basis
o Ensuring the quality of service of my team
o Providing service and cleaning trainings to increase the performance and the development of my employees
o Ensuring the satisfaction of the Borouge Staff on daily basis
o Coordinating breakfast and lunch function on daily basis with the banquet team
o Coordinating and monitoring time sheets of my employees (Sick leaves, Holidays, Absences...)
o Implementing and monitoring Hygiene checklist as per the HSE policy of the contract (ISO)
o Implementing the feedback forms and measurement of guest satisfaction for the banqueting service
o Creating the monthly facility management report of our activity for monthly basis
