1) Plans the daily distribution of resources among receiving, storage and delivery operations in order to maximize warehouse staff productivity and storage efficiency
2) Ensures the accurate counting and documentation of all receiving, handling and dispatch of goods to maintain stock accuracy

•Managing the procurement of all products required for the hygiene department as well as other ingredients for the factory and warehouse using the NAV system
•Receiving all raw materials required in the factory and coordinating the dispatch of products to customers throughout the UK, including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, Morrison’s, M&S and MCD, and overseas
•Responsible for the supervision of more than 250 members of staff, maintaining high levels of morale and motivation and identifying individual training needs
•Responsible for the despatch team, thus making sure all orders are being despatched in an precise manner to different customers(Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, MCD, Coop, ..)
•Negotiating and securing a number of deals to achieve significant savings for the warehouse including the purchase of raw materials, counterbalance trucks, reach trucks and electric hand pumps
•Coordinating the seamless relocation of more than 2, 000 pallets to a new warehouse in just ten days whilst also reducing the price of new racking by 30%
•Continually looking for new ways to drive down costs and improve the overall efficiency of operations
•Playing a pivotal role in managing all factory production manufacturing various products such as naan bread, tortillas, pancakes, crumpets and dough balls
•Additionally responsible for preparing the factory for visits from various different external companies
•Completing the Food Safety & Hygiene Course for food suppliers provided by Marks & Spencer
