Leading the delivery of BACS' scope of Traffic Management During Construction of Lines 1 and 2 in the Riyadh Metro Project
Resources management and handling client expectations.
Managing the daily activities and operations.
Interfacing with the different construction teams (viaduct, at-grade,
stations, etc…) and adjust per construction methodology and phasing.
Acquiring approvals from the Project’s Consultant and meet the Client
demands to serve the local needs.
Interfacing with the public authorities and high officials in the City.
Manage and review traffic impact reports and temporary traffic control
plans.
Utilize relevant traffic software in the process to produce proper output
(EMME, Synchro, etc...)
In addition to my previous assignments and responsibilities towards
ADA, I was involved in:
Setting the RFP, and manage the Phase 2 Traffic Management Plan during
Construction of King Abdul Aziz Public Transport Project.
Setting the RFP for the ArRiyadh Road Intelligent Traffic Information
Project.
Between March 2011 & July 2013: Seconded full time to ADA - Arriyadh
Development Authority, KSA. Working with ADA involved:
Supporting ADA in the daily operations and traffic management studies.
Provide continuous organization and coordination with transportation
consultant companies, contractors, and other public sector entities (Traffic
Police, Riyadh Municipality, MoT, etc…)
Studying and resolving traffic congestion along Riyadh’s critical areas.
Investigating and analyzing traffic counts on more than 350 studied nodes
using different modeling software (Synchro, HCS, VISSIM)
Integrating the traffic count survey data obtained since 1990 and still
ongoing into the integrated ArcGIS model, to be as part of an interactive
and user friendly database.
Developing the RFPs for and managing the projects:
Comprehensive Traffic Management Plan During the Construction of
King AbdulAziz Public Transportation Project, Phase 1.
Resolving Riyadh Traffic Black Spots Project, etc.
Involvement in the Riyadh Bus Project.
Preliminary design for traffic signals along BRT corridors.

Preparing thorough GIS maps for analysis and presentation.
Analyzing points of interest along the BRT and community line network.
