• Notify personnel in accident areas of any potential hazards (e.g., activate building or area alarms).
• Provide emergency response officials with details of the problem upon their arrival.
• Immediately call Fire Brigade and report the incident.
• Record preparation, Maintenance, Retention, and Access. Accident Investigation and Corrective Action.
• Must were the personal protective equipment as provided, like Safety Shoes, Helmet, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Mask, Gas Mask, Eye Protection etc.
• Investigation of the employers work activities and of the working environment to which the injury or illness might be related.
• The proper care maintenance, useful life and disposal of the PPE.
• An accident takes place in which readily available personal protective equipment (PPE) is inadequate to ensure worker safety.
• Employees working over or near water where the danger of drowning exists shall be provided with approved life jacket or buoyant work vests.
• Firefighting equipment of proper type to be used while working, where there is a chance of the hazard.
• All safety appliances should be properly maintained and periodically serviced to maintain its original strength.
