Synopsis: Recruited in 2011 in the capacity of a IT System Administrator to be a part of the network expansion and implementation for the sister groups of Al Qahtani for their separate servers of each company on virtualized environment in our shared and centralized Data Center at present implemented in 3 companies 1- Al Qahtani Pipe Coating Industries, 2-Group Five Pipe Saudi and 3-Earadat Transport Company which is serving the users and companies with the network on wireless/WAN spanning to 45kms Arial distance from the centralized Datacenter.
Technical Skill Set:
1. Administers all aspects of the Domain Controller & Exchange servers.
2. Working with the internal Windows Active Directory based corporate network. This includes: Domain controllers, File Servers, Print servers / Antivirus, Windows 8/Windows 7 /Win XP workstations maintenance.
3. Proficiency with Windows 2003/2008 Server /Email mail exchange.
4. Proficiency with Cloud Infrastructure & Virtualization for upscale environment through VMware.
5. Managing the Virtual environment and the virtual servers on virtualized systems
6. Administration of servers in an Active Directory environment, ensuring that each server has 100% uptime.
7. Maintaining user accounts, user groups, and profiles as requested.
8. Monitoring and supporting critical network services (e.g. DNS, DHCP and Email).
9. Assists with Technical Support problems and issues by spotting issues and devising a solution to prevent them.
10. Monitor system logs and activity on all servers and Network devices.
11. Troubleshooting Monitoring P2P WAN devices such as Ubiquiti /Redline and maintaining logs for issues and DOWNTIME.
12. Configuring Juniper Switches with Managed V-LAN’s.
13. Coordinate with Team for schedule and server updates.
14. Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs
15. Effectively communicate issues to peers with recommending resolutions.
16. Responsible for backup and maintenance of the corporate wide servers.
