Partner with Security team to enforce PCI-DSS policies and resolve all security remediation in a timely manner.
Help support, develop and expand an on premises PCI-DSS certified infrastructure.
Design and deploy on premises computing and storage systems to provide IaaS and BaaS catalogue in a PCI-DSS environment.
Support a diverse catalog of services, including infrastructure, AWS, BaaS, DRaaS, tools, configuration management, Identity & Access Management, Single Sign-on.
Define key operational metrics, develop reporting infrastructure, set targets, and continuously improve. Present operational metrics weekly to IT Leadership. Drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation. Work with monitoring team to define requirements for monitoring/alerting/logging, triage and resolution. Participate in design reviews.
• Reporting to GM on all IT operations and activities.
• Strategic IT planning and execution of roadmap for 3 entities (500+ employees).
• Successful deployment of multi-million dollars IT projects across the group (ERP. e-Voucher, e-Topup, data centers…).
• Day to day management of IT programs.
• Managing the Network and systems engineers and providing support when needed.
• Management of a large scale EFT-POS network. (over 6, 000 nodes)
(VMware esxi, Vcenter server, HP SAN storage...)
• Managing key support processes like problem management and incident management and ensure effective performance monitoring metrics, dashboards and service levels are in place and utilized.
• Writing, enforcing and protecting IT standards and procedures.
• Securing data and IT systems from internal and external attacks.
• Undertake complex technical evaluations of the system infrastructure and ensure priorities are assessed and defined to determine upgrade capacity plans and needs that will enhance system performance and put forward comprehensive recommendations
• Manage the effective achievement of the team’s objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing the team and providing formal and informal feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation.
• Procurement of IT hardware, software and services.
• Corporate network design: 1 head office, 3 regional offices, over 25 shops and remote offices, with load balancing and failover links to two ISP connections, including configuration and installation (HSRP, IP SLA, VPN…), SNMP and Netflow configuration for network monitoring.
• Designing and implementing remote access and site-to-site IPSEC and SSL VPN tunnels for the regional offices, branches, partners and roaming users: Cisco ASA, Cisco routers, Cisco VPN client, SonicWall firewall.
• Recommending changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Proactive analysis of equipment performance records to determine the need for repair, upgrade or replacement.
• Assuring proper diagnosis of hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
• Mail server migration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and update
• Firewall configuration: Cisco ASA 5510, Checkpoint.
• Server Setup: Windows server 2003 (advanced), 2008 (basic), RedHat Linux (advanced), RedHat Cluster server.
• Cisco Router configuration, maintenance and installation (Cisco 1700, 2800, 3600).
• Mail server update, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Corporate ISP tasks including defining IPs and routes on Shasta BSN, passport switch and Cisco HW.
• Defining and editing Firewall rules.
