Responsible for operating petroleum refinery, maintains safe, reliable and environmentally sound facility.
Plant Operations
• Continuous monitoring of throughput
• Continuous vigilant in the field by taking round at regularly interval.
• Chemical injection rate controlling in crude column overhead line and desalter.
• Check desalter interface level and current at regular interval.
• Note down field reading for cross check with DCS. (i.e. LT/FT/PT etc.)
• Pump changeover / isolation for maintenance.
• Monitoring the smooth and safe operation of rotating equipment like pump, compressor fin-fan cooler, FD/ID fan of heater, etc.
• Sampling of various products for laboratory testing.
• Checking of firebox and burner flame pattern, burner change over in heater.
• Ensuring all standby pumps are always in healthy and warm up condition.
• Maintain the record for the future/past shut down job.
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedure, work permit procedure.
• Check lube oil/ seal system and oil level in reservoir in recycle gas compressor.
• Following proper housekeeping to ensure clean and safe work area.
• Other job instructed by shift in charge and panel operator.

• Centrifugal compressor with lube oil system (turbine pump and electric pump)
Pumps
• Single/multistage centrifugal pump, various speed drive reciprocating pump, Diaphragm pump, Submersible pump Centrifugal/Reciprocating pumps with motor. Operation LPG pumps Operation of Hot slurry pumps
Equipment
• Induced/forced draft fan, crude desalting, separation, compression, steam turbine, Desalter, Flash drum, steam ejector, Heat exchanger.
• Column - Primary Absorber, Sponge Absorber, Amine Absorber, Stripper,
Heater
• Single fire heater which is capacity 24.81 mmkcal/hrs.
Column
• Primary Absorber, Sponge Absorber, Amine Absorber, Crude distillation column, Vacuum dryer, stripper, Splitter
Heat Exchangers
• Different types of Reboilers, Cooler Fin fan coolers, shell and tube types, reboiler
Vessel
• Reflux/overhead drum/ Flare Knock out Drums, Coalescer LP/MP condensate system.
Under Ground Drain System
• Underground Oily water drainage & close hydrocarbon drainage system.
Fire & Safety Equipments
• Fire hydrant/monitors/deluge valve/Sprinkler system.
