- Preparation of Project Quality Plan, Procedures, Quality Control Procedures and Inspection test plans for the works to be done and submission to Client for approval.
- Implementation of Inspection Test plan, Quality Control Procedures and method statements.
- Prepare and establish details of Field Inspection requirements in accordance with the Applicable Standards and the Code of Contract.
- Monitor the performance of the works with respect to the Standards and Project Specifications.
- Perform proactive surveillance inspection to minimize or avoid discrepancy and non-conformance rectification, cost and time.
- Coordinate and Assist the Project Manager to resolve any encountered problems related to Inspection and testing activities to meet Schedule and avoid any delay of activities.
- Verify and Evaluate work, material deficiencies and non-conformance prior to raise any NCR.
- Initiate remedial or corrective action based on Standard, code, specification and verify the closure of NCR.
- Responsible for inspection of Lightning system as per circuit diagram, Panel Installation, Cable laying (E&I) in Cable Trays, Trenches as per approved drawings.
- Inspection of Heating Tracing cables and Testing.
- Inspection of the Installation of MCT’s.
- Inspection of Lightning Protection (Lightning Arresters).
- Inspection of Earthing Cable Laying, Exothermic Weld joints, Earth Bus Bar, Earthing Test.
- Inspection of Motor Installation, Resistance/IR test & Motor torque test.
- Inspection of Cable Continuity/IR, Cable termination, HI-POT Test, Earthing test.
- Prepare the NCR, CAR, TQ, ITP, and Method Statements & RFI’S.
- Complete QA/QC Documentation as per Project specification
