• Completely handled AC-AC Traction System with Head End Power Project for Diesel Electric Locomotive. Controlled modification of the Power Car to work with Hotel Load from Locomotive (BOM creation, Material Procurement, Installation work and Interfacing), Readiness of the Locomotive for HEP, successfully worked with the AC Cars of Shatabdi Trains, Troubleshooting, Training and prepared documents like Operation and Maintenance Manual, Troubleshooting Manual and Loco Schematics.
• Independently handled Technical aspect of Dual Cab Locos 4500 HP (WDG4/WDP4D) along with Schematics preparation on Auto CAD, Product selection for the same, development of Control Stand and Control panels. Carried out Design approval from the customer and Validation of the locomotive after Field trials from DLW and RDSO.
• Done PROJECT MANAGEMENT for Dual Cab and Single Cab AC-AC Traction System (Inverter Based) Order at DLW, Varanasi. Looked after Procurement (RFQ, Vendor Management), timely delivery schedule, checked each delivery in accordance with customer requirement (Specification), commissioning activity at the right time and getting back the money with the customer as per PO conditions.
• Engineering Support for Design and Development of 4500 HP Single Cab WDG4/WDP4B Locomotive propulsion system (Indias most powerful Diesel Electric Locos), carried out Validation of its functionalities and done field trials along with DLW and RDSO.
• Fleet Manager at Diesel Loco Shed at TKD (Tughlakabad). Looked after Installation and Commissioning, Warranty support and Troubleshooting of the Locomotive. Timely reporting of the fault, RCA of failure with Customer, timely clearance and spares Management.
• Handled all Technical Issues, Warranty related issues and spares for the Project at all India level (Silliguri, Varanasi, Hubli, Silliguri, Jodhpur, and Sabarmati).
• Reduced costs by 20% by implementing a new cost-saving strategy. A total cost of INR 12 Million per year by successfully replacing Relays of OEM make with Relays of Siemens make after complete technical analysis.
• Worked on Designing and Development of Driver Display for Electric Locomotive.
• Installed and commissioned more than 100 locomotives independently.
• Vendor Management and Logistics handling for procuring and commissioning this new Locomotive.
