Working as part of a very large masterplan in Riyadh.
• Spearheaded the project management processes, including tendering, negotiations, contract management, cost control and planning, and quantity take-off.
• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• Defined baseline of the project using Synchro Scheduler and updated with the actuals on a weekly basis.
• Evaluated schedule performance comparing planned vs. actuals; prepared S-curves and progress reports to update senior management and initiate required actions.
• Organised weekly progress meetings with the subcontractors and team members to review schedule variances and agreed to necessary measures.
• Conducted cost control activities, tracking actual costs against the approved project budget and made necessary changes to the budget accordingly.
• Visited the site to monitor the progress and formulated the progress payment certificate of the subcontractors on a monthly basis while ensuring all works adhere with the contract requirement and specifications.
• Managed the tendering process and procurement of new contracts including pre-qualification and selection, preparing tender documents, doing tendering, tender evaluation and finalizing new contract documents and preparing contract agreement.
