• maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures
• assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)

• responsible for correct decontamination and sterilization of all medical and surgical instruments/ equipment and for taking inventory and ordering equipment
• provides general nursing care in out-patient and emergency cases
• assessing patients, making patient care plans; modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses
• monitoring pulse, blood pressure and temperature and educating patients about their health
• all nursing procedures such as but not limited to oral, IV, IM injections and wellness check-up
• collecting sample on various laboratory examinations and setting up drips
• assisting doctor with tests and evaluations; carrying out routine investigations
• organizing staff and prioritizing busy workloads
• checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and placing orders if required.
• making reports using E-Clinic (ICD 10) system and encoding statistics for DHA requirement
• making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality and adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
• performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer
• assisting receptionist on dealing with patient calls, scheduling of treatment and follow-up
• attending educational workshops for enhancing professional and technical knowledge

Summary of Duties:
• Ensures efficient and coordinated flow by coordinating and planning activities communicates patient's needs, makes referrals.
• Receive endorsement and do rounds to check patient's condition, carry out / transcribing doctor's order in conformity with the policy and legal limitation.
• Delivers direct patient care, assesses patient's physical, psychosocial and/or emotional needs, and provides patient and family teachings, take vital signs and make referrals as necessary.
• Administers medications as assigned, serves as a resource person for knowledge of medication uses, side effects, and dosage, checks for proper medication order, documents medications, obtains required consent forms to administer immunization, reviews drugs and educate patients of medication administration.
