• process all shipment through WMS and SAP
• Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
• Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities.
• Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
• Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
• Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices.
• Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
• Responsibility for purchasing and the “in-stock” levels within the agreed inventory parameters.
• Purchase inventory within the agreed budgets.
• Immediately alert the Retail Manager and Pharmacy Manager when a budget is exceeded.
• Maintain a process for returns. Manage a defined area in the storeroom for returns/credits. This area will include out of dates, damaged and unsaleable goods.
• Maintain harmonious working relationship with Suppliers/Vendors within the buying parameters set by the business.
• Oversee and assume responsibility for the POS system and the Electronic Ordering Systems.
• Observe the correct buying protocols.
• Observe correct stock receiving protocols.
• Complete all necessary stock takes. 11. Maintain the storeroom and the allocation of space for stock. Ensure the storeroom meets SOP regulations
•Always acknowledge customers presence immediately as he/she enters the store.
•Gives attention to customer all the time and determined their needs and wants.
•Make sure that the merchandise are clean and uncluttered, product is easily accessible to the customer.
•Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
•Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotion, policies regarding payments and exchange.
•Conscious of shop lifting activities.
•Answer customer questions and queries, inform supervisor if needed
•Handles one customer at a time, pressure while settling transactions.
•Make sure to make balance the cash register and receipt.
•Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
•Follow rules and regulation by company and as per manager/supervisor assign.
