In the scope of the EU-funded CCTE project that I am currently working on, I work as a translator and interpreter in English to Turkish and Turkish to English. As the implementer, I am working within the scope of the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Türkiye, and we are in close cooperation with the EU delegation to Turkey, TRC, and other institutions such as IFRC, UNICEF.
My responsibility covers the translation related to the CCTE project and all of the meetings held between the Turkish delegation and the EU delegation and sometimes between the IFRC and the other foreign institutions.
I am currently responsible for the following:
• Consecutive translation,
• Simultaneous translation,
• Written translation,
• Proofreading (Microsoft Ofice),
• Accompanying the delegation,
• Reviewing documents,
• Assisting internal and external institutions,
• Revising the documents related to the project.
I worked closely with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. Above all, I would like
to state that I am rather familiar with the circular economy, sustainability, and project management as an
interpreter and language assistant within "Technical Assistance for Assessment of Türkiye’s Potential on
Transition to Circular Economy", DEEP Project in which I have been working since the launch of the project,
February 2022.
This project is funded by the European Union, and its budget is 3, 198, 250.00 Euros. During my 1-year of
experience in the project, I had the chance to experience
• the inception phase of a project,
• maintaining smooth communication among the high number of parties involved in the project, e.g.
End-Recipient, Contracting Authority, Project Team, consortium partners, local & foreign experts, and
participants in the workshops.
I also performed project assistant duties such as:
• supporting the beneficiary in the necessary situation,
• conducting communication regarding the administrative part to the parties when necessary,
• keeping some meeting minutes, etc.
During the institutional visits we made within the scope of the DEEP Project, I contacted many institutions
from the public and private sectors, and I often took part in the coordination and organization part. In
addition to the translation, I communicated with our consortium members from abroad and did this at
every stage of the project.
As a translator, I was responsible for:
• Consecutive translation and
• Simultaneous translation at the required meetings,
• Written translations and proofreading (Microsoft Office)
When it was needed, I worked as an assistant, and my role included the following:
• Making meeting minutes.
• Reviewing and organizing the financial budget,
• Arranging related meetings and following official e-mail flow.

SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETER (TURKISH-ENGLISH) EUROPEAN COMMISSION IN BRUSSELS
I worked as a simultaneous interpreter at the European Commission with the Directorate General of
Environment (DG ENV), the Directorate General of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs
(DG GROW), the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) and
accompanied the delegation of the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.
I worked as a translator and assistant between deputy general managers and commission experts in the
fields of green deal, climate change, and resource management within the scope of national and
international relations (November 2022, Brussels).

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETER (TURKISH-ENGLISH) TURKISH EMBASSY IN BRUSSELS
I worked as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter between the DEEP Project team leader, the
Ministry delegation and the Ambassador at the Brussels Embassy.
I forwarded the delegation's questions to the embassy and provided verbal communication between them
(November 2022, Brussels)
• I worked as a reporter, translator and assistant at the Turkic Council Education Ministers meeting
(November 2021, Istanbul),
• the APA meeting held within the scope of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (November 2021,
Nevşehir), and
• Many meetings of UNICEF and UN-Woman (2021-2022, Ankara).

ORGANIZER, INTERPRETER, ASSISTANT 6TH MEETING OF THE MINISTERS OF EDUCATION OF
THE TURKIC COUNCIL
I took part as an organizer, translator, and reporter at the 6th Meeting of the Ministers of Education of the
Turkic Council, hosted by Mahmut Özer, the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, in
Istanbul on November 4, 2021.

TYPER, INTERPRETER (TURKISH-ENGLISH), ASSISTANT GRAND NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF
TÜRKİYE, ASIAN PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY MEETING
I accompanied the delegation from many countries and worked as an interpreter and typer at the APA
meeting held within the scope of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (November 2021, Nevşehir),
I translated articles, reports, and analyses in the Middle East scope during the last year of my bachelor's degree.
During the second and third semesters of my bachelor's degree, I worked as an interpreter and
salesperson between Turkish customers and Raghav Granites, an Indian company.
