A-Solutions

Cairo, Egypt

January 2017 - Present

At A-Solutions, my main role was to

- Identify problems and areas of improvement for our perspective clients by conducting multiple research activities such as data gathering from meetings with stakeholders and looking at their industry's best practices.

- Prepare interactive presentations, prototypes and detailed proposals to discuss problems, showcase solutions, present implementation plans and cost description.

- Perform comprehensive presentations to the clients' designated representatives to offer our company's services and complete business deals.

- Once a project started I coordinated with project managers and responsible team members to ensure the timely and successful implementation of the plans.

A highlight of my time at A-Solutions was a project conducted with the MOE (Ministry of Environment) to identify IT solutions to help eliminate the threat of the air pollution resulting from the burning of rice star and landfills, which results in the phenomenon known as the "Black Cloud".
The project focused on improve employee communication and productivity within the ministery. By creating an automated system that push satellite captured data straight to the rangers mobile phones. The system would then require each employee to prove that he was present at the location of the incident by sending his GPS location and fill in certain information about the incident.

The system was applied in five different govern orates. One of which, has managed to use the system to report over 5000 incidents in one season.

The project was considered an instant success and was recognized by the minister of environment as extremely beneficial. I then received a certificate of recognition and appreciation from the minister in their annual celebration.

Alternative Education

Cairo, Egypt

November 2012 - May 2018

My roles and responsibilities at Alternative Education have had to change depending on company needs and size. I started the company by having to do sales, marketing, teach classes, track and manage finances and supervise customer service activity. I was also responsible for designing the customer journey and workflow. Adapting to the company's growth and as more distinction in job responsibilities became essential, my responsibilities became more about managing different departments and teams, tracking their progress, drawing out action plans and following upon their implementation.

In five years time, we grew from just three team members to over 20 in two branches in Mansoura and Cairo. Consecutively, I became more concerned with the analysis of the company's performance, researching and identifying opportunities for growth and working closely with department heads to ensure the best utilization of company resources.

Working for Alternative Education has enriched my business knowledge and experience in many business areas, but most importantly was how different business processes align together to create a coherent and efficient business environment.
