Set and ensure high standard hygiene, health, safety environment and pest control in UAC Foods factories, premises and warehouses.
Accomplishment
•Improved standard of hygiene, health safety & environment and pest control in UAC Foods factories, premises and warehouses; which led to high reduction in incident cost, reduced waste (raw material / product) generated over time due to pest infestation.
Conducting Physicochemical Analysis of raw materials (Chemicals/Preservatives, Flour, Vegetable oil, Spices and Minced beef), Water and Finished products.
Conducting daily routine and Age Analysis of raw materials and products.
Accomplishments:
• Improved Raw Material and Products Analytical Data Storage; from general excel sheet containing daily analysis results of all raw material and products to specific MS excel documents for different raw material and products. Documents for raw material different from products, each sheet is categorized by type of material. Different document for daily raw material and products samples, monthly age analysis samples and suitability samples within two months taking over as Chemical analyst
• Improved Raw Material Sample Storage for future reference; all raw material samples are kept together. I initiated the daily storage of samples into different containers based on their nature, physio-chemical characteristics and type/category. This aided easy identification of samples in future case of referencing within two months taking over as Chemical analyst.
Ensure product compliance with set quality standards by sampling, assessing, measuring and verifying the products. Ensure process compliance with set standard of procedure (SOP) by monitoring the over-all manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and House-keeping. Monitoring of Critical Control points and food production processes against food safety hazards. Record and report information on non-conforming products and processes.
Quality Inspection of Raw/Packaging materials at the point of receipt.
Accomplishment:
• Intercepted food safety non-compliances which would have caused the company customer complaints/dissatisfaction, potential loss of brand name, regulatory actions/sanctions and possible litigations/legal costs.
Conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses of raw material, semi-finished and finished products in the laboratory for quality or process control.
