• Responsible for all maintenance related activities in both automotive and brake disc divisions.
• Implementation and continuous improvement for pre-set maintenance KPIs.
• Member of EGA leaders committee responsible for updating strategies, goals, and policies for operation functions
• Analyze downtime failures on monthly basis & improve maintenance plan accordingly.
• Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget (2024: 1.5 m € OpEx and 1 m € CapEx).

• Team leader in V/X167 project to assemble Mercedes GLS & GLE vehicles in Egypt, responsible for the construction and equipment installation for the new projects.
• Project leader in Energy Management Project, successfully had been awarded certificate ISO 50001, establishing, and developing energy efficient systems to reduce operating cost.
• 55001 Asset Management Certificate in process.

• Offering services on CNC machines for all African countries. Sample for our clients: Abroad: Kampala, Uganda: LUWERO Industries, and in Tunis, Tunisia : EMP Locally: Alexandria, Egypt: Salesiano Don Bosco Institute, Egypt-Japan University, and Cairo, Egypt: German University in Cairo, Euro Tools, EMED, SANAD, 2M & TEPCO.

• Successfully built the first CNC service team for DMG MORI in Africa.
• Managing DMG MORI service activities all over Africa, for both milling & turning machines.
• Hot liner for Arabic and English-speaking customers, for mechanical failures, electrical failures, and control problems (both Siemens and Heidenhain control).
• On-site support for all service technicians inside and outside Egypt, on regular basis.
• Scheduling service activities for Africa service technicians (8 Engineers) 4 are based in Egypt, 1 is based in Algeria, 1 is based in Tunisia, 1 is based in Morocco and 1 spare parts coordinator based in Egypt.
• Supporting MACTEC exhibition in Cairo since 2014
• Supporting MIDEST exhibition in Casablanca since 2015.
• Had several business trips in the following African countries: Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Angola, Tanzania and Uganda.

• Scheduling, implementation and updating of preventive & predictive maintenance plans.
• Maintenance team leader in 1MBD Project (1 Million Brake Disc Project), Project target is to increase productivity in order to deliver 1, 000, 000 brake discs to Daimler Germany per year. Project included overhauling of a complete machining line (consist of 5 turning machines, 1 roll marking & 1 balancing machine). Besides, startup of 2 additional complete machining lines including the needed utilities.
• Monitor elect. power load capacity needed for plant operation and improve low tension distribution

Position: Automotive Division Maintenance Head Since: Jan. 2009 Till: Jul. 2010
• Head of cost reduction committee, introduce & evaluate suggestions for potential cost savings.
• Maintenance team leader & project coordinator of Assembly Annex Project with scope of increasing productivity to reach 20 cars per shift & SOP of GLK car, project included design of a new shower tester cabinet & new roller tester pit in cooperation with Imtech Co. team in Thailand.

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Since: Jan. 2007 Till: Dec. 2008
• Maintenance of welding guns, Paint shop ED coating tanks, Paint booths, Assembly & Utilities.
• Member of projects committee, responsible for all preparations & modifications needed for production lines for SOP of each new model of Mercedes-Benz in Egypt. Modification included: new X-road (brake tester) in assembly shop including new infrastructure, new shower tester in assembly shop, new welding line in body shop and new buffer stations in paint shop.

• Operation & Maintenance of steam boilers & heat exchangers (International Medical Center) (IMC).
