Key Responsibilities:
1- Reporting to Commercial Director.
2- Managing Value Added Products (Artevia, Agilia, SFRC, Mortars, Screeds, LWC, CMU’s, Etc...) Sales and Marketing activities in designated Areas.
a- Directing the sales team towards high potential VAP opportunities, in order to achieve the maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.
b- Searching for new clients and maximizing customer potential.
c- Establishing new and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
d- Negotiating tender and contract terms, to meet both client and company objectives.
e- Meeting regular sales targets in terms of volume sold and profits gained
3- Extra mile projects pilot (Concrete Masonry Units Plant & Affordable Housing).
a- Launching new products and organizing product launch events.
b- Proactively managing the products as projects.
c- Organizing and managing the products committees (steering, operation and technical committees).
d- Measuring the market performance (volumes, margins, penetration).
e- Setting action plans, market segmentation and volumes forecast.
f- Setting pricing plans and margin levels.
g- Preparing marketing documents (Brochures, data sheets, reference lists, job site photos, etc…).
h- Organizing national/BU promotional events.
i- Defining the product added value and communicating it with Operations and QC.
j- Building relations with potential co-development partners (Applicators, Suppliers, and Engineering Consultants).
Key Responsibilities:
1- Reporting to Area GM.
2-Promoting VAP’s to specifiers.
a-Visiting all specifiers (engineers, architects, municipality technical services, owners and developers).
b-Identifying high VAP potential projects and following up on them.
c-Organizing promotional events (Demo days, local trade shows).
3-Selling VAP’s to customers.
a-Searching for new clients and maximizing customer potential in designated regions.
b-Establishing new and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
c-Negotiating tender and contract terms, to meet both client and company objectives.
d-Meeting regular sales targets in terms of volume sold and profits gained.
4-Supporting the sales reps.
a-Training the sales reps to the different products and their applications.
b-Doing joint visits with the sales reps to coach them & help them in complex/difficult cases.
c-Analyzing sales statistics and challenging sales team.
d-Preparing jointly sales reps action plans regarding VAP (pipeline, target customers).
e-Participating/co-managing all sales meetings on the product mix.
5-Developing applicators network.
a-Detecting potential applicators for (USFRC, Agilia, Artevia & Mortar).
b-Convincing them to join the network.
c-Making sure they get the proper support (from demonstrators, QC, Product Manager).
Key responsibilities:
1- Reporting to Business Development Director.
2- Conducting inspections and testing services, using complex and high technology testing equipments and IT systems.
3- Dealing with customers, answering queries on test procedures and results and handling customer’s confidential information.
4- Insuring inspection’s compliance with the regulations and standards set by SGS.
5- Ensuring weekly and monthly backup of tests reports and related files and make sure that they are successfully transferred to the clients.
Rotational Program Engineer, I have already completed the Technical Office, Site and Quality Control stages, these stages included the following duties:
Technical Office Stage:
⇒ Preparing the materials & equipments technical submittals, ensuring their
compliance with the contract documents.
⇒ Reviewing, checking & verifying the supplier’s technical submittals and
preparing the technical comparison sheets.
⇒ Reviewing, checking & verifying the sizing, hydraulic calculations & quantities take-off of materials & equipments.
⇒ Preparing requests and variation orders.
⇒ Handling the subcontractor’s accounts, contracts and activities.
⇒ Preparing the PO's in their final forms.
Site Stage:
⇒ Planning and coordination of various site execution activities within the
mechanical discipline (HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing) with various
construction disciplines.
⇒ Verifying design constructability including procedure, site conditions vs.
design output.
⇒ Development of all technical documentation required for work execution as
work instructions and method statement.
⇒ Supervising, monitoring and solving complex problems with sub-contractors & suppliers.
⇒ Site material take-off, and track the progress/status of materials delivery to site.
⇒ Verification of received materials vs. ordered materials.
⇒ Coordinating the shop fabrication in site.
⇒ Perform field inspections.
⇒ Submitting “As-built” drawings.
Quality Control Stage:
⇒ Accepting or Rejecting any supplied materials or equipments and ensuring
their compliance with the contract documents.
⇒ Site inspection for compliance with contract documents.
⇒ Preparing the MIR’S & WIR’S and ensuring their compliance with the contract documents.
⇒ Supervising the Quantity Take-Offs.
⇒ Monitoring "As-Builts".
⇒ Evaluating construction material Testing Results.
⇒ Participating in Final Inspection and preparing Punch lists
Volunteer activities 1-Steward in the WCC (World Council of Churches) 9th assembly in Porto Alegre, Brazil winter 2006, The WCC is a fellowship of over 340 churches in over 100 countries representing more than 550 million Christians. WCC assemblies are held every 7 years, it integrates key religious leaders that gather to discuss and work out solutions for major worldwide topics as terrorism, poverty & water consumption…etc. My Role: 1) Nominated by the MECC (Middle East Council of Churches) to represent the Egyptian Youth. 2) Head steward of the participant's plenary. 2-Member of "Spirit" which is a qualified sports organization, our organization aims to deliver moral concepts & beliefs through sports. My Role: 1) Team leader of the sponsorship and fund raising team.
