AUGUST 2016 - PRESENT ALYSJ JOINT VENTURE, Qatar
A joint venture of five multinational companies to include; AKTOR of Greece, Larsen & Turbo of India, Yappy McKenzie of Turkey, STFA of Turkey and Al Jabber of Qatar currently executing Doha Metro Gold line Underground Project Qatar. Key figures include: total of 32km bore tunneling with diameter of 6 meters, tunneling lined with approximately 128, 000 segments, 6 Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) utilized simultaneously, 13 underground stations fitted out with high-end finishes and state of the art MEP systems, 2.5 million m3 of excavation for the stations, 1 million m3 of concreting. The project. With workforce of 5000 approx. and 70 HSE Staff team.

Position: HSSE Lead Officer (CIVIL, MEP, ARCH &T&C)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring that all tasks carried out during the project phases are carried out in compliance with section 11 of Qatar Construction Specification (QCS 2014) and other code of practice contained in HSE plan.
Leading and Supervising a team of 10 safety officers and workforce of about 850 operatives and reporting to HSSE Manager
Implementing and maintaining effective communication systems for staffs and workers information provision
Promoting a positive health safety and environment culture through campaign and promotions
Advising, Implementing and Maintaining individuals and organizational competence and training need for any high risk activities.
Identifying, Assessing and advising on the control measures of high risk activities
Implementing and maintaining proactive and reactive monitoring systems for fire, incidence or loss events e.g. PTW, Inspections with consultants, clients , contractors and loss events investigation, emergency drills respectively
Implementing and maintaining maintain HSE elements and registers for health and safety internal and external audits
Implementing and promoting good behavioral safety at work and company health and safety policies.
TDP, TTM compliance checks during road diversion and work zones safety buffer and other related road activities at our traffic and utilities diversion works packages
