- Manage, evaluate, and monitor drivers.
- Ensure an equitable allocation of vehicles and drivers in the region
- Ensure implementing vehicle pooling system in a proper way
- Ensure conducting the movement plans for all staff in a proper, efficient and effective way
- Ensure sufficient number of vehicles available to meet the movement requirements
- Ensure vehicles are well maintained, hygiene, fully equipped with tools and full
documentations are in place.
- Ensure drivers are knowledgeable for all areas and locations within Bekaa governor.
- Conduct ongoing visits to IRC premises within Bekaa governor such as Arsal and Hermel
to assess the fleet matters.
- Prepare all fleet reports, analyze the figures and provide an analytic study for the outcomes
- Ensure tracking system for fuel consumption for vehicles is in place
- Responsible for implementation, revision and adaptation of IRC Lebanon standard vehicle
policies and procedures in Zahle field office.
- Carry out regular training to all drivers on basic vehicle mechanic skills, daily vehicle
inspection, drills on safety driving, defensive driving, etc.
- Work with the Country Office Sr. Logistics Manager and Senior Logistics officer to design
and implement a suitably staffed and equipped transport function to support the IRC’s
vehicle operations and policies
- Implement and direct IRC standard vehicle policies and procedures, with particular
attention to safety and security issues; ensure vehicle inspections for safe working order is
done on routine basis.
- Well maintained fleet and good filing system for all vehicles
- Signing on vehicle fuel forms for refueling and keeping accurate record and monitoring
system on fuel consumption.
- Inspect and record condition of vehicles, by maintaining weekly checklists file and ensuring
that Vehicles log books are accurately filled
- Provide on-time, standard monthly reports to the senior logistics Manager at Beirut Main
office, including fuel consumption report, maintenance report and any other related
reports.
- Conduct documented quarterly job performance reviews of Fleet staff, providing
appropriate feedback.

- Communicate clear expectations, set performance objectives, provide regular and timely
performance feedback and perform documented semi-annual performance reviews.
- Coach and mentor staff with the aim of strengthening their technical capacity, adhering to
IRC policies, procedures and regulations specific to supply chain and exchanging
knowledge within the team and providing professional development guidance with support
from the Field Coordinator and Sr. Logistics Manager.
- Promote and monitor staff care and well-being; approve monthly timesheets, approve and
manage travel and leave requests to ensure adequate coverage.
- Adapt orientation package and ensure that new staff members Zahle based are
appropriately orientated on Logistics support in a timely manner.
