Responsible for IFC to Shop drawings, GIS, submissions to Parsons consultant, liaising with site for logistics, as well as design for future works including steps, capping, planters and paving. Handover meetings for interface with surrounding companies.

Billion worth of assets, focusing on serving the infrastructure market in the State of Qatar.
Main project - a 14km road project at Al Muntazah Street, Industrial Area and Commercial Avenue, the client
being Ashgal situated in the South of Doha. Project cost was originally 3 billion riyal. Project includes 5
underpasses, 2 flyovers and a tunnel.
Managing 33 survey teams in all aspects of works including, piling, drainage, excavations, pipe laying, micro
tunneling, landscaping, GIS, temporary diversions and all details regarding a major infrastructure project.
Assisting the health & safety department in ensuring the work force comply and have good understanding of
safe working practice through training and testing. Regular meetings with consultants Parsons and KBR to
ensure safe and correct delivery of this hugely important access to and from industrial area.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT at HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

probably the most important project Qatar has seen. Responsible for quality and high standards. Works
include the construction of columns, beams, hollow core slabs, steel work, anchor bolts, MEP, underground
works, bathymetric surveys and other civil works including the tie in of all the surrounding roads leading to
the airport. Involved in meetings with clients and presentations on rate of progress.

Major Projects/Experience: I have undertaken three major projects while working for BSL. All three projects
have involved the construction of ‘Diaphragm Walls’. Diaphragm Walls are a specialty of BSL. The process is
constructing extremely deep piling walls into the ground. The first project where I was based was at Canary
Wharf, London for the groundwork’s of a new 43 storey building, the second was the frame of an
underground pump house for a power station at the Isle of Grain, Kent, the third being the new Tyne Tunnel
crossing, North Shields.
