Oversee Structural inspectors as necessary. Advise the STL (Senior Team Leader) of any technical aspects of the Structural services that may affect construction progress, quality and the like. Review Contractor’s installation method statements re Structural works. Review Contractor’s Structural shop drawings against the contract drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to STL with appropriate comments / approval. Review contractor’s Structural shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and Structural engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise STL accordingly. Review Contractor’s Structural services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements and advise the STL on the appropriateness of the proposals. Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the Structural services works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices, the construction schedule and health & safety. Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed Structural equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the STL. Undertake prior review of Contractor’s proposed Structural testing and schedule. Prepare on-going list of Structural services defects for contractor’s remedial action. Undertake final Structural snagging and prepare list of defects for Contractor’s action. Attend project, site progress and any Structural services related technical meetings as directed by the STL. Prepare draft site / engineer’s instructions as necessary, relating to the Structural services, as required and issue to the STL. Provide advice to the STL in regard to any Structural services related variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor during the course of the works. Review and comment upon Contractors Operation and Maintenance manuals re Structural services.

Structural supervision of building construction projects (checking material submittals, reviewing shop drawings, responding on contractors queries, coordination with other parties involved in adjacent plots, writing correspondence to Client, compliance and coordination with authorities requirements). Structural supervision of remedial work on existing structures.
