Direct all international procurement activities for a manufacturing operation, managing an annual purchasing budget exceeding EUR 20 million.
• Source and procure raw materials, spare parts, machinery, and production equipment from global markets to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers across Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, Türkiye, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, India, and China.
• Lead end-to-end import operations, including international shipping, customs clearance, and trade documentation, ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations.
• Manage Letters of Credit (L/C), international bank payments, and trade finance documentation to secure favorable payment terms and minimize financial risk.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Achieve continuous cost savings through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and market analysis while maintaining quality and supply reliability.
