RESPONSIBILITIES
• Involved in establishing the vendor sourcing strategy and drives the contract
negotiation.
• Responsible for the strategic vendor relationship between the IT and the vendors.
• Explore areas for better vendor performance management and follow-up.
• Discuss objectives and terms of supply (cost, quality, performance, timeframes etc),
develop.

• Set and execute consistent supplier selection process acceptable to all relevant
stakeholders.
• Manage, negotiate and execute new contracts and changes to existing agreements, with acceptable commercial risks, to drive down price and increase return on investment. Includes extending, renegotiating and terminating contracts.
• Build trusted relationships with suppliers and assess cost/benefit to the organization through a pre-determined assessment method.
• Responsible for maintaining records and documentation related to contracts,
invoices, assets and files for audit.
• Participate in the solution development process and ensure that customer requests and needs are represented within the product.
• Receive, verify and forward invoices for approvals as per IT financial procedures.
• Payment coordination as and when required, with accounts payable department.
• Receive and process bills related to IT admin expenses in coordination with Admin
Department.

• Created structured repository for contracts.
• Maintains a tracker of assets purchased, which will help in better asset management.
• Designed workflow with guidance from IT management for manual procurement
process and is under discussion for implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Make sure proper documentation for Software requirement specifications (SRS),
Change request (CR), version description etc.
• Review and understand the module functionality and requirements from the documents.

• Perform sanity test, functional test, unit test, regression test etc.
• Cross check SRS and client requirements with software functionalities. Discuss and suggest changes to related documents based on test results.
• To run batch jobs for uploading trade finance data from core to e-banking database.
• To confirm data reflected in application is in sync with database.
• To make sure application is free from any form of bugs or issues, which hinders its
efficient working, before being delivered to the customer.
• To analyze if the issues found, are because of missing setups or because of faulty
code.
• To analyze error logs and filter out the root cause for the issue.
• To log the defect found with details, after analyzing and pass on to next team for fixing it.
• To check if the fix provided is working fine and has not affected any other
functionality of the application.
• To certify, application is deliverable to the customer.
• To make sure, no data is lost once migration has been done to a higher version.
• To confirm no functionalities are affected during migration.
• To check new database is in sync with older one, and appropriate entries are made in new tables if any.
• To do regression testing, for making sure application is not adversely affected, after all issues found, have been fixed.
• Confirming if the issues logged by the end user/customer is actually present in the application and forward it for appropriate action.
• Making sure upcoming versions of the application is free from issues similar to the ones already logged by the customer.
