 Main Function: To bestow complete, accurate and efficient accounting service for the financial betterment and enhancement of an organization.
 Responsibilities: To adhere companies relevant credit control procedures and that it is well implemented in the operational activities for the benefit of the company.
 To escort a team of credit control and resolve all problems related to debt collection so as to maintain the DSO & NWC.
 Chasing payments through direct phone calls, emailing, personal visits, sending letters as required to reduce and maintain debtor days
 Managing disputed accounts and negotiating on payments to bring into the line with payment terms.
 Undertaking complex client accounts for reconciliation and to compile documentation for any legal action required. Liaising with external debt recovery agents and chamber of commerce for disputed cases.
 Liaising with auditors to answer their queries on accounts receivables during financial audits.
 Assessing the credit values of new clients based on 4 C’s of credit practice - Character; Capacity; Capital & Condition.
 Obtaining enough information to assess the creditworthiness of existing or new would be client to set up a new credit limit.
 Reconciling both the Client and Bank account with subject to receipt of payments so as to allocate the payments towards the correct outstanding balances and to avoid any disputes on payments.
 Reporting management on outstanding issues and bring into their notice the potential debtors with high risk.
