Working as Project Manager performing the following duties:
•Plan, organize, direct and control the engineering, procurement and construction activities from the commencement of the project to completion date according to the project schedule, specification requirements and budget.
•Creating Budget, Budget monitoring & Cost control analysis.
•Review and finalize the technical and commercial clarification with Client & suppliers/vendors. Correspondences with the Client, vendors and sub contractors.Conduct meetings, seminars, presentation with Client, Vendors, Subcontractors on weekly/ monthly basis as per the contract requirement.
•Contract management
•Design & Engineering coordination
•Management of changes/variations to project scope requirements with Client, sub contractors and vendors as per contractual agreements.
•Preparation of progress reports, schedules, bar charts and look ahead programs.
• Management of construction, precommissioning, commissioning activities ensuring conformance with design specification, codes and standards.
•Evaluate and resolve the technical, commercial and project schedule related matters to ensure smooth running of the project.
•Progress monitoring and follow up with Vendors and subcontractors on all technical matters.Ensure timely completion of the engineering, procurement and construction related activities by the Vendors, sub contractors and construction team. Managing regular visits, inspections, FAT and I-FAT at vendor facility and site.
•Responsible for preparation and finalization of detail design documents and specification.
•Review of equipment vendor’s drawings and documents, design calculation, test reports etc ensuring that the design is as per the project requirements and consistent with international codes and standards.
•Attendend HAZOP meetings and guided engineering team to incorporate the end user requirements.
• Monitor the fabrication of piping works, ensuring that the welding, surface preparation and painting is as per project requirements. Arranging inspection of piping works at site, pressure testing as per the project specification requirements.
• Apply a timely efficient management information system for Projects progress status, area of concern and data dissemination.
•Correspondences with the Client, vendors and sub contractors.Conduct meetings, seminars, presentation with Client, Vendors, Subcontractors on weekly/ monthly basis as per the contract requirement.
• Review and finalization of as built documentation of the project and close our reports.
Basic responsibility as a Senior Project Engineer in the FPI Group was the complete execution of a project from the design stage to the installation stage.
Major tasks required for project execution are listed hereunder;
Managing relevant technical approvals and pre-qualification requirements related to the projects as per International Specifications and relevant ASTM Standards.
Conduct the project kick-off meetings and progress review meetings with all relevant technical and product knowledge required in execution of the project undertaken.
Managing the engineering division to prepare the project drawings, stress analysis and finite element analysis (if required).
Correspondence with the Client and vendors managing all relevant contractual/ commercial issues related to the projects including payment terms, letter of credits and bank guarantees.
Managing all relevant production/ delivery and installation issues as per project site requirements and project installation deadlines.
Conducted experiments on existing designs and equipments to obtain data on function and performance of equipment.
Conducted analytical studies on engineering proposals to develop designs for manufacturing mold for automobile plastic parts.
Involved in Designing components to provide maximum customer value and vehicle function, including improved economy, safety of operation, control and operational performance.
