1. Maintain Cementing, Frac and Coil Tubing equipments with a minimum amount of component failures, road calls, job problems and comebacks, due to maintenance.
2. Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies. Assist in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
3. Ability to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
4. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
5. Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence..
6. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels.
1.Responsible for maintenance and trouble shooting of system's like DCS, PLC, TMR system and Machine monitoring systems.
2.All latest field instrument including Flow, pressure, Level and temperature transmitters maintenance and trouble shooting.1. Operation and maintenance of Stimulation and Cementing Pump Skids, Mixers, Blenders, LAS, Coflexip hose reels, Generator, Diesel engine HMI and data acquisition systems .
2. Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of all electronics, instrumentation, and control elements/systems, such as PLC’s, DCS control, Electronic engine controls, Variable Frequency drive systems, Radar measurement systems and controllers.
3. Follow company quality procedures and standards to ensure service quality .
4. Adhere to company health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations and promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
5. Preventative Maintenance/Procedures: Develop and maintain PM processes for all electronic equipment to minimize/eliminate equipment failure and production loss.
6. Material/Stock control: Select critical spare components by determining need, quality, cost, compatibility and availability while adhering to company policies and practices regarding purchases.
1. Independently analyzing and planning a job, developing a logical scope of work considering manpower / material / spare requirements, liasing with other departments and vendors. I have been assessed of being capable of leading a work team and being a team player.
2. Experience in carrying out major control systems upgrades and control systems centralization.
3. Thorough experience in Electronic and Pneumatic process instrumentation and control systems. Experience includes, installation, hook-up, calibration, loop checking, troubleshooting & repair.
4. I have dealt with various makes of instruments such as Yokogawa, Honeywell, Taylor, Fisher, Rosemount, Masoneilan, ABB Kent, Foxboro etc. and system maintenance like Honeywell/Yokogawa DCS, Siemens/General Electric 6 series/Modicon Quantum PLC’s, Triconex (version 9) Shutdown systems, Bently Nevada 3500 Vibration Monitoring System and Rexroth/Nabco Ship M/E and winch control systems.
1. Calibration of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Pressure/ Temperature/ Mass/ Force/ Torque/ Hardness measuring Equipment in Calibration Lab. On-site calibration for above all different parameter.
2.Preparation of calibration certificate.
3.Coordination of customer during site calibration. Attend Customer Complaints.
4.Maintains master equipments to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
5.Plans and develops calibration procedures for monitoring and measuring devices to maintain required or specified measurement accuracy.
6. Determines measurement uncertainty for critical test and measurement processes.
7. Specifies, procures and configures standard and special purpose calibration equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate other instruments and test equipment.
8. Meets established deadlines and objectives.
9. Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects as a function of calibration problems.
10.Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry as a function of calibration.
11.Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations.
12. Schedules and arranges for calibration of devices and equipment by third party calibration service.
13.Maintains calibration data base.
14.Support marketing, as required, to assess customer requirements, provide technical support for demonstrations, etc.
15.Attends training courses as required, to become familiar with a wide range of instruments supported by the company. May develop and conduct training as needed.
1. Draft work orders and obtain work permits, together with wiring plans and diagrams from supervisor, review work and arrange for the necessary materials, tools and equipment to complete the taks.
2. Allocate work to assigned technician, ensure availability of materials and follow-up to ensure satisfactory completion.
3. Participate in the diagnosis of faults. Inspect and test completed work to ensure that is has been carried out in accordance with requirements and that equipment perform satisfactorily, prior to handing back to section.
4. Install, maintain or repair, on site or in the workshop, a variety of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.
5. Test and calibrate repaired, electronic and pneumatic instruments.
6. Run dlagnostic programmes for the data acquisition system and programmable logic controller to carry out software maintenance.
7. Issue comprehensive daily activity reports outlining the cause of the fault, the nature of the work and the materials, labour and time taken to complete the task.
8. Ensure that all tools and test equipment are kept in a clean and serviceable condition.
9. To ensure adherence to HSE Standards and Guidelines in all areas of their work.
10. Advises Supervisor for spare parts and materials requirements.
11. Ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted within Company standing instruction and procedures and good oil industry practice.
12. Provide training and guidance to newly employed technicians including Saudi National Developees to facilitate their assuming positions in the company.
1.Good working knowledge of various process control instruments.
2.Experience in checking, calibrating and repairing control instruments
3.Understanding of area classification and safety requirements.
4.Capable of reading and understanding P & ID s, schematic, logic single line wiring diagrams/drawings
5.Working knowledge and understanding of Digital Electronics basics
6.Experience in using Electronic test equipment for trouble-shooting / testing purposes
7.Good knowledge in DCS, PLC and ESD’s of major international makes.
