Responsibilities involve -
• Manage, lead and execute Life Cycle projects and works on behalf of the Estates department for UAE University, Al Ain.
• Supervise and direct all Khadamat and sub contractor’s staff engaged in both projects and maintenance delivery.
• Writing the project scope of works and develop specifications, including Projects planning and cost estimation preparation
• Monitor the projects QA/QC and conduct the required checks
• Providing MEP support for the department engineers and technicians
• Ensure all project works are executed within the agreed standards and timelines
• Liaise with the client and contractors for inspections
• Actively participate with the Engineers ‘On Call’ Rota system
• Supervise, monitoring and controlling the ongoing projects and coordinate with various contractors for the work
• Prepare periodic reports for management including status of budgets, schedules, disputes, upcoming activities and safety records
• Prepare the method statements and risk assessments
• Adhere to safety standards on site and report any incidents
• Review project documents (drawings, material and technical submittals) ensuring they comply with the original design intent
• To actively participate in all QHSE training, programs, audits and inspections

Site Consultant for Khadamat Facilities Management.

Responsibilities involve -

• Supervise ongoing project works on behalf of the Estates department
• Create and maintain all the LWI specified documentation of the ongoing projects.
• Supervise and control the contractor works
• Determine project scope of work by studying drawing designs, customer requirements, completing technical studies, preparing cost estimates and quality performance.
• Adhere to safety standards on site and report any incidents
• Prequalifying sub-contractors, followed by their selection and appointment for various projects
• Preparing snag reports during handing over and hand back.

IIM KOZHIKODE PHASE V PROJECT (CLIENT - Central Publics Work Department)
Responsibilities involved -
• Maintain project progress as per the scope of work & schedule
• To handle problems or engineering issues at site
• To make sure every electrical device or circuit installed meets client specified standards and quality
• To make sure all relevant processing equipment & accessories are installed properly within given specifications including commissioning of equipment and distribution boards
• Managing work crew
• Preparation and submission of reports
• Liaise routine inspection works with client
• Attend periodic meetings with client and other contract engineers
• Maintenance of store inventory at site and their allocation
• Getting technical offers from different suppliers, making comparison statement and forwarding to purchase department for the commercial proceedings
• Coordinating with civil team for activities required for electrical work like substation building construction, excavation, back filling and duct laying
• Coordinating with sub-contractors for works related to switch gear testing, control cable network, fire alarm system etc.
• To make sure proper health and safety standards are followed at site
• To make sure work is conducted as per GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) guidelines
