Description of duties:-

• Exercising full control over the workforce on site.
• Ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications, agreed procedures and method statements.
• Preparation of designated procedures.
• Ensuring that HSE rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully enforced.
• Site surveying and setting out, dimensional control.
• Monitoring all Sub-contractors work closely to ensure that the Quality of the work is as per specification and is completed on time.
• Completing all necessary Q.A. documentation related to the work under his direct control and co-ordinate daily site inspections.
• General site management.
• Ensuring that all information on drawings is conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and details produced where required.
• Maintain safe working environment at site.
• Ensure a clean and tidy workplace at all times.
• Conduct daily visual and weekly formal site inspections as per schedule.
• Analyze all work activities under their control to ensure that hazards have been
identified and controlled and that the only safe systems of work are undertaken.
• Ensure that all materials, gears and equipments (including personal protective
equipment) needed to carry out the job safely is provided prior to commencement of work.
• Ensure that work activities do not adversely affect or endanger other contractor's
employees.
• Conduct daily HSE briefing to the workers prior to the commencement of everyday job.
• Immediately investigate any reported HSE hazard by joining with HSE Personnel and implement measures to control or eliminate such hazards.
• Ensure that all work is carried out suitably qualified and trained personnel.
• Report, record and investigate all incidents within their work area.
• Prepare work method statements and risks assessments, where required.
• Ensure that the requirements identified during the development of the work method
statement and risk assessment are adequate in terms of detail and are being
effectively communicated to all personnel involved with the task.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the
Site Agent / Project Manager.
