Homzmart is a $15M Series A startup that operates in Egypt and KSA, it is a one-stop shop where the customer can purchase everything from furniture to household items and more.

As the first Marketing hire in the team, I am responsible for driving Homzmart’s online business growth, brand awareness, and implementation of the marketing strategy, including reducing customer acquisition costs, CRO improvements, customer retention, and increasing customer lifetime value through automation and promotions.

At the same time, I’ve managed to build a marketing team of 12 people, and establish processes, tools & optimization of the existing digital assets (analytics, social media, CRM, paid accounts)

Achievements:
- Decreased CAC by 55% in the last 6 months via better optimization for the budget allocation across different channels (SEM, social media ads, email campaigns, dynamic retargeting, and SMS)

- Segmented the buying customers and retargeted them with different marketing messages using push notifications, SMS, email campaigns which resulted in increasing the customer lifetime value by 65% across the last 6 months

- Recruited affiliate networks which lead to an 8% increase in the daily number order after 1 month of launching their campaigns

- Increased ROAS by 20%, MOM, since June 2021 through promotional A/B testing and new ad formats/visuals

- Increased the prepaid share of orders vs. COD by 60% via adding new online payment methods, incentivizing the customers to use them

- Increased mobile app orders share by 300% in 2021 vs. 2020 through a 360 campaign across all channels (emails, SMS, media buying, social media, onsite, etc) which increased the ROAS by 40%

Working closely with the performance team on implementing the assigned strategy along with optimizing and coming up with any ad-hoc action plans to make sure of achieving clients’ business objectives

Achievements:
- Scaled & coached the team from 2 to 12 media buyers and performance analytics

- Increased the closure rate of clients digital proposals by 40% via restructuring the proposal scope, adding insights, and having media plans with clear commitments

- Managed +35 clients with average spending portfolios USD 5M+ a year

- Secured an average of 11x ROAS for MAVINZ’s clients

OneCard is the leading online payment solutions provider in the MENA region. It was launched in 2004 in KSA and expanded to serve 12 countries, providing the most secure and convenient e-payment method for more than 8, 000 merchants all over the world.

I started as a Senior Media Buyer managed all the PPC (pay per click) channels including Google Ads, Twitter, Facebook ads, Adroll, and perfect audience,
Then was promoted to Digital Manager to lead a digital marketing team of 7. I was responsible for customer acquisition & retention, upselling and cross-selling strategies, CRO optimization, KPIs reporting, and managing the budget of USD900K+ across 6 countries (Egypt, KSA, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain and, Qatar).

Achievements:
- Decreased CAC by 35% throughout 3 months via implementing a promotional calendar with different appealing offers

- Decreased bounce rate from the traffic of the media buying campaigns by 67% by using the most converting landing pages and adding converting elements

- Increased CR of the search campaigns by 32% by working closely with the PPC (pay per click) team on increasing OneCard impression share of the competitor keywords (CASHU) from 12% to 44%.

- Led a 3 months project to restructure SEM campaigns, which contributed to CPO by 45%

- Increased the organic traffic by 25% by working with the SEO team on restructuring the HTML tagging

- Decreased leaks and drop-offs in the customer funnel by optimizing registration & check-out pages leading to a 50% increase in conversion rate

- Increased sales volumes from Itunes gift cards by 650% by working on 360 promotional campaigns for Itunes Including (subsides, SEM, paid social ads, SEO, SMS, retargeting strategy, social media)
