• Generate and develop new business to meet specified business goals.
• Promote and sell Caterpillar parts and service, prepare and present sales proposals and service estimates.
• Prepare and sell Customer Support Agreements (CSA) according to customer requirements.
• Make sales calls on existing and prospective customers; understand and communicate information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Follow up on sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with sales, service, and parts personnel
• Troubleshoot problems and do failure analysis.
• Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedule.
• Supervise and Co-ordinate activities of maintenance staff
• Ensure last version for different software troubleshooting tools and also controller’s flash files.
• Report failure description and steps taken to fix the problem
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT performance
• Execute and Contribute product improvement programs for all CAT products
• Maintain such communications and relations necessary to report on the status of matters requiring actions and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken
• Report technical office for solutions based on practical issues and also prepare presentation for new issues

The ability to design components, devices, and systems to meet specific needs in electrical engineering. The ability to function effectively on multi-disciplinary teams involving people from diverse backgrounds. The ability to identify and define problems in electrical and computer engineering, and to generate and evaluate solutions to those problems. The ability to understand the professional and ethical responsibilities incumbent upon the practicing electrical engineer. The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the field of electrical engineering. The ability to understand the role and impact of electrical engineering in a broader societal and global context.
